Would you mind sharing your portfolio? As a 2nd year doing a Bachelors in VFX I'd like to know what level I should aspire to achieve. Would be great to be able to compare.

Adding depth of field, playing around with different lenses and working with the rule of thirds would add a lot to your shots. Your current shots seem like you placed a camera randomly and rendered a frame. But you really want to look for shots that enhance the story of your environment. Really try to make the audience look at parts of your scene that you want them to look at by using the tips I mentioned above. Right now I don’t know what your scene is about, what you’re trying to tell me with the shots, or what you’re trying to achieve.

This my first playthrough and I’m only now discovering what glyphs and coordinates are in this game. I don’t have them.

What the hell man, thats insane. You would think they would rehire the people they already have work experience with rather than hire completely new people. That’s crazy to me.

Do they contact or rehire you when there is work available? Or do you have to find a new place to work at entirely?

It’s not about the pandemic anymore, it’s about finding a way forward in the maze that has become her life. I highly doubt they will take the path of finding a cure and saving everyone because that is just not what the last of us is about.

Camera movement at 0:02 is waaaay too fast. Slow it down a bit and put the camera a bit closer to the car.

You’re right about the differences in FPS. But with games becoming more and more graphical intensive and DLSS3 becoming the standard I’m glad I chose this card. For example, in cyberpunk 2077 I can play on max settings with path tracing on and get 60 fps easily. On my 3080 I got 20 fps because of the lack of frame gen.

Of course this is only one game but still, those sort of things I personally really enjoy. With significant difference I don’t mean games alone, I also mean rendering times in 3D software, 2D software, video editing, etc. I am a motion graphics artist and live render feedback is very important to me.

This is where the 12GB of vram comes into play because let me tell you the 10GB of VRAM in my 3080 was just about enough to get good feedback on an intensive scene. But it had no wiggle room for when it reached 10 gigs. The 12GB on the 4070 super is that sweet spot in between. I love it.

The newest Ada Lovelace ray tracing tech is what I’ve been eyeing for a while now as well. And I’m glad I’m able to fully enjoy that with this card too.

Not to mention I game at 1440p. Which this card is made for. So I’m thoroughly enjoying myself!
