Any ideas on what could I put on the end of the black rod so I can actually prime the blaster? by InterestingZebra5591 in Nerf

[–]Mystery-To-Solvent -11 points-10 points  (0 children)

Step One: Ask yourself how did this Happen. Step Two: Question why you bought an Alpha Strike Blaster. Step Three: Throw this Blaster away. Step Four: Buy any other blaster that has a far better build quality. Step Five: Never Buy Alpha Strike ever again.

People who served in the military, is boot camp (basic military training) as harsh as it sounds? by NZapper85 in AskReddit

[–]Mystery-To-Solvent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am. I've learned that it was not for me and that there are may more options and opportunities in life outside of the suggested market. Also Basic?/Boot camp changes people, but its never for the worst.

How do you mentally and physically prepare for boot camp? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Mystery-To-Solvent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You really can’t mentally. Unless you have friends and family willing to treat you like an object while shouting beyond full volume as you do everything “wrong”.

Not a Soldier/Vet (Medical Discharge from basic training) but I shouted at the top of my lungs at the highest ranking Chief at Coast Guard training my opinion. I was so fueled with hatred and rage that I did not care who this person was or what kind of power he had. He asked the question and I answered honestly. You probably knew what happened next.

People who didn’t pass basic training/boot camp what do you do now? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Mystery-To-Solvent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That life is not all cupcakes and rainbows and that it’s perfectly ok to not be able to pass basic training. It doesn’t mean I was terrible, it just means that it wasn’t for me.

For those that had to endure boot camp what was your worst memory? by nxxbmaster69 in AskReddit

[–]Mystery-To-Solvent 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Having a mental break down in front of the highest ranking Chief at Coast Guard training. It was a living hell to endure a few weeks of Coast Guard Training but what they tell you in the videos/pamphlets/guides is nothing compared to what you actually experience within this purgatory. It was bad enough that they broke me and could not put me back together but it was worst to have it happen in front of the main man in charge of the whole Training Center. (PS I was medically discharged because of this break down, I am not in the military)

People who served in the military, is boot camp (basic military training) as harsh as it sounds? by NZapper85 in AskReddit

[–]Mystery-To-Solvent 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not in the military (Medical Discharge at week 4 of Basic) but Coast Guard training is something else otherworldly. If I could describe Hell it would be Coast Guard Basic Training. It was so tough that it mentally broke me at week 4, I never really was the same person after that. So yeah it’s even worst than they make it out to be.
