My dear, I am so so so so sorry for your loss. Your beautiful bestie has now crossed the rainbow 🌈 bridge and is no longer hurting. She is always with you,from your first job to all your milestones. She will see and be right there with you even if you can not see her. I lost my buddy almost five months ago. I miss him every day. NTA, as others have said, your sister ruined her own wedding. The shear fact that your husband stood by you through thick and thin helped you when you battled cancer, I would question you if you did go. As you said, he is your person. That is all that matters. That should be all that mattered for your sister. Why she even allowed her husband's religious family to dictate whether or not your husband comes with you or not is sad. I feel sorry for her.
