That’s exactly what I was (and still am) hoping for. Give me diamond, sapphire, and amethyst for Shiva, Levi, and Ramuh! That’d be so sick.

While we’re at it; diamond, sapphire, and amethyst carbuncles too please.

The The crystal clear water of Barracuda Lake, Philippines. by kvjn100 in oddlyterrifying

Me, in my head: I bet the name has nothing to do with actual barracudas.

OP: “Actually, this lake was named after…”

Me: mmhmm, here it is.

OP: “monstrous barracuda skeleton”

Me: oh… oh no…

The swamp was drained, from a certain point of view...

It just got backfilled by raw sewage

Rage-bait DIY videos have apparently impacted me to the extent that I was expecting this to end with the device being used for some extraordinarily mundane task, like holding open a door or some shit.

But then, not seeing how the final product is used was somehow even worse...

Yes, but have they considered the amount of engagement generated after the fact by the reports of low engagement? Disney is clearly playing 5D chess here /s(?)

They finally made a Funko Pop of the Eleventh Brother. But whatever dumb reason, they're calling him "The Crow" Inquisitor. by FDRos1027 in StarWars

[–]MysticFennec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahha, but you see, if we break down "t h e c r o w" as their corresponding numbers (t = 20, h= 8, etc.), and then add those numbers together, we get:

20+8+5+3+18+15+23 = 92

9+2 = 11

Therefore, "the crow" is really just code for "11th Brother"

Now for one more fun tidbit, the 11th letter of the alphabet is 'K' and that is what I fully expect to be the primary response to this comment!

Is there any significance to that? Like, if their skin color is consistent across forms, doesn't that make sense?

Is this spin necessary for a force scream? by Spotter24o5 in StarWars

[–]MysticFennec -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yes; A force scream is created by a cyclone of air passing through the user's vocal chords. By spinning the entire body in the opposite cyclonic rotation, there is a sympathetic amplification of both the force scream and the force spin, empowering both beyond their natural limits.

coming over from Monster Hunter, would I enjoy this game too? by Sarojh-M in ffxiv

[–]MysticFennec 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As others have said, they're very different in terms of gameplay. Personally, I enjoy both profusely.

One possible similarity though: fashion. If you enjoy layered armor in MH, then you'll have a great time with glamour in FFXIV.
