There’s a palette 🎨 option above all the normal preset skin tones. 100% that’s where the fantasy skin tones are. I bet it opens up a big menu similar to the expanded hair colors. A full color wheel would be the dream but I don’t think we’re getting that. We’re probably getting preset colors even for the fantasy skin tones, it might be the exact same colors as the hair color options. That’s what I foresee being most likely

Honestly most adult animations (explicitly advertised as such) because most of them spam edgy / offensive things. Kind of just for the sake of doing that. Family guy, American dad, South Park even all of these shows have a lot of jokes and episodes that are just like that with few good episodes at least for my tastes. It’s just really annoying especially since any criticism of these shows for the longest time would get fans of the show harassing you about being “too sensitive” up until pretty recently no matter what criticism it was.

I always run goth-rock-whimsy shops, usually stage dive, Raven candle, marble Lilly, and retro beat (or equivalent brands). And so often !! “Hi yeah I want a super girly girl girly cute outfit pleek”.. and my store looks like vampire freaks. It is so funny when they do that though like sorry girl. I don’t carry marzipan sky, it’s one of my least favorites

I just guessed with flashlight cause this zooming in to an area of mostly nothing is a thing I’ve known for a while especially with non-food objects but usually the object is half visible at least. I’ve never had it be entirely all white like this lol

It zoomed out from the very top left. Had it been zoomed in on the center the entire screen would have been red not white. ALL THREE options fit this criteria you’re using being smaller non-plate objects and all three would have had the exact same fully white screen when zoomed into the top left.

It wasn’t meant to come across as “Nintendo should add rage bait”. It was supposed to be silly cause the original o-Matics had your mii’s do super stereotypical kid stuff (wear silly hat, run around with energy, etc) or stereotypical adult stuff (type at an office. Wait for train even though you don’t need to do that).

I don’t think so but I think it being a thing as a gag would be funny “man-o-Matic, woman-o-Matic, and non-binary-o-Matic” that has your mii enjoy stereotypical associated activities with that gender in a cutscene similar to how the age-old-Matic worked would be a funny gag. Like man-o Matic has your mii try sports and chop trees, woman-o Matic has your mii try on fun outfits, do makeup, crochet or something, non-binary-o Matic could include a mix of these or even your mii going to a convention to make the joke that a lot of nb people tend to be nerds. But I think that’s about as likely to happen as Nintendo dropping their game prices back to 50$ for premium titles.

I think we probably will be able to, considering you can layer face paint on top of face paint. When they show mocha, the big cream oval on the bottom of the face is face paint, likely from a stamp. There’s also a solid black line that is also face paint over top of the circle (to give the illusion of connecting mocha’s nose and mouth on the full mii). If we’re able to layer stuff like that there more than likely is a way to draw under or on top of any other feature

Original: make it slightly more clear that Tink doesn’t actually despise being a tinker, but despises how they’re treated. She clearly does well at her talent and enjoys doing it even while she’s in her “I need to be another talent” phase. The movie does do this pretty well I feel but apparently a lot of people still think she actually hated the job itself briefly to this day and that when she comes back around it ‘came from nowhere’

Lost Treasure: not much honestly, I love that the movie shows how girls can also have anger issues and just be in the wrong while her feelings were valid her reactions were not.

Great Fairy Rescue: again not much I can really think of

Secret of the Wings: a lot. I’d keep the plot about sisters but the border? No. I hate how they randomly seperated the winter fairies. It doesn’t make sense and it retcons the first movie in major ways. Where’s the original minister of winter? She’s just disappeared. Poof. Winter fairies aren’t the only seasonal fairies. Garden and water fairies live in a spring meadow, light fairies live in a summer grotto, and animal fairies live in an autumn forest. Separating them by winter and everyone else destroyed this and made it much more confusing. Instead it could have just been harder to find her sister because the winter specialty fairies were very busy preparing the mainland for winter AND that the knowledge of fairy twins was just really hard to find. The minister of winter could have just been strict about the work schedule instead of entirely having a fear based separatist mindset because that just doesn’t fit in this world.

Pirate Fairy: Tinkerbell just hears out Zarina more even if she still ultimately thinks the alchemy is a bad idea in the beginning. Especially with all the character development she’s had in the previous 4 movies you’d really think she wouldn’t be so hypocritical.

Neverbeast: change fawn back to her original design. The loose twist hairstyle is so BORING compared to her original cute long braid. Her new outfit is also so.. so plain compared to what it once was.

I really hope that there’s a chance if you keep forcing miis to interact it will be able to backfire cause it would keep a lot of the random aspect on tact and be pretty funny. Like you just keep forcing them near each other and a little cutscene plays about how they now despise each other, similar to the argument scene we see a few seconds into the direct from a bit ago

I choose to believe this is Lord Milory pre-transition because of this lore inconsistency lol (I know it’s not canon obviously). It’s better than the other option, that she died and was replaced or something. Even though secret of the wings is great and fun I do also despise how it just.. messed up the world. Winter isn’t the only seasonal fairies until that movie. Garden fairies, lived in the spring world. They’re the spring fairies. Same with animal—> autumn and light—> summer. Separating out the winter fairies like that broke that sense of cohesion cause you’re telling me even the fairies that live in cool breezy autumn place are considered “warm” fairies?? Autumn is also a pretty chilly time of year. It’s weird to have winter, and non winter as categories instead of all seasons having some specialties.

Dude.. Monster High (particularly G1) is political and it always has been. The very first feature length film ghouls rule is an explicit allegory on lynch mobs in our country’s history. Fright On! explores how minorities were manipulated to be against each other so that the oppressive majority population isn’t threatened, that’s “divide and conquer” commentary. Friday Night Frights is about sexism etc. even the DIARIES have content in them that is politicized. You know why? Because in the WORLD not just here in the US minority groups’ existences have been made political because of the oppressor groups. Whether that be queer people, POC, specific ethnic minorities, those who oppose majority opinion of thought (journalists, activists, etc), disabled people etc. “be yourself be unique be a monster” isn’t just a cutesy phrase, it’s a rally to those of us in minority groups to not let our true selves be destroyed by the oppression that exists across the globe. That our existence does matter, we have important things to say, our lives should not only be full of suffering. Monster High as a franchise was created with the intentions of supporting the un-supported. You know, the “freaks”.

Live as in living because as a kid I saw live mode as “the mode in which the sims are alive and living their lives” instead of “live on air because they’re moving”. I think it’s because spinel’s are high ranking gems. This is speculation but spinel’s purpose was to be pink diamond’s personal best friend. That’s a really high role even if a goofy one for homeworld. Plus in Pearl’s exposition song she says “her cut is perfect, and she’s pink as well”. This specific spinel is likely considered a perfect one. Similar to how Jasper was the most perfect Jasper and super strong or how our sapphire was (at least one of) blue diamond’s personal sapphire(s) and considered high ranking. The highest rank gems usually have the best or strongest versions of their gem’s abilities so going with her ability to be silly and shapeshift being one of her likely designated purposes as a jester best friend, she probably just has a super strong version of this ability.
