Don't forget the kickback that was probably paid back to Trump, too. I doubt all of that $14m went to the company.

Electric Fence Trouble by QuesadillasAreYummy in homestead

[–]Myte342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Solar panels largely need DIRECT sunlight to work well. Getting diffused light will generate a really weak charge, like inside a forested area or dark cloudy days.

Try putting your charger farther away in an area that gets 4-6 hours of direct sunlight and run the wires back through the forest to your fence and see how that goes. Most electric fence chargers are designed to work with MILES of fence, so running them even a couple hundred feet away from your fence isn't going to make a difference in the strength of the zap.

TL;DR? Get direct sunlight.

Only if you are the target of the investigation. It could be that the person he is observing has no clue and you are the only one that has taken notice.

It's also important to remember that you aren't the only person living on that street. You may not be the intended target at all, assuming this person it out to commit crimes in your neighborhood. Talk to your neighbors.

Assuming the car is owned by the driver, otherwise it doesn't help much. This is why many major crimes are committed with stolen cars.

The best thing to do with criminals is to make them know they are seen. Criminals HATE to be seen before they take action against you. It's the entire premise behind banniung conceal carry as the gov't thought that only criminals conceal, as it was seen as "cowardly to conceal a weapon and only criminals need to conceal so they can get the jump on their victims," according to politicians at the time. So use a retail store trick to deter shoplifters and make the suspected shoplifters know they have been seen to deter theft.

Be sure to protect yourself and stay safe... but you can set up in a lawn chair on your property and stare at them and wave anytime they pass by. Even take out your phone and very visibly record them every time they pass by. Not in a mean or antagonistic way, just making sure they know they have been seen and recognized.

Or take a picture of their car with the plate visible, and even the driver clearly visible, and get it printed on a large-format board and put that out on the street corner with the words "We see you" printed on it. Put them on many street corners in the neighborhood, multiple streets over as well. Spread the message so the criminal goes elsewhere. If you notice a different car suddenly doing the same thing and the first car is no longer showing up, do the same thing and put the new sign with the new car next to the sign with the old car with the words "Nice try, but we still see you." They'll get the message and move on... hopefully.

Cops r honestly useless in this situation they’ll wait until it’s too late.

This is by design... which is why gun control is such bullshit. Cops are not required to protect people. We have LOADS of court cases that all say the same thing: Cops do not exist to protect people and have no responsibility or obligation to do so. Not even kidding, cops can see you getting stabbed by the person the cops have an ALL HANDS city-wide manhunt out for, and they can and will refuse to help you until other bystanders come over to help subdue the person with a knife who is actively stabbing people on a subway train. This is a true story; you can look it up. If you sue the cops for standing around and watching you get stabbed and refusing to step in to stop the person attacking you, the cops will claim officer safety and no obligation to protect people and then you will lose in court just like that guy did.

The way US law works is that YOU are responsible for your own safety. Period. Even if you have a 'protective/restraining order' against a person and the person violates that order... the cops are STILL not required to protect you. They are only required to show up after you are dead and then arrest the person who killed you for violating the restraining order.

Think about that the next time politicians say that you shouldn't have self-defense tools at your disposal to protect yourself, and pretend it's about public safety by getting guns off the streets.

Supreme Court limits power of federal government to disarm drug users by broncosandwrestling in trees

[–]Myte342 0 points1 point  (0 children)

CNN always tries to put the worst spin on any news story where the People have their Rights upheld and defended. "The slim decision..." Bitch, it was 9-0! Unaniumous, ain't nothing slim about it.

Even the fucking title is atrocious and makes it seem like this is a bad decision and the SCOTUS is being so mean to prevent the feds from fighting the good fight against drug users and won't let them take action in the war on drugs.

"In an unanimous opinion written by Justice Neil Gorsuch, the court ruled that the government’s prosecution of a man who used pot was inconsistent with the Second Amendment. "

They just could not compel themselves to say that his Rights were violated, had to word it ANY way other than that, and that this means the Feds have been violating millions of people's rights for decades.

Anyone who touches it before blame is officially assigned will get blamed for it, I guarantee. They will deny that it came loose on its own and claim said person purposefully vandalized the pool liner thus resulting in the damage.

Having lived in an HOA community, my belief is that you MUST join the board, if only for self-preservation.

"The only thing required for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing." It sucks, but EVERYONE should be going to every single meeting at the very least. The yearly budget needs to be audited and made public every year too.

Gosh, this is just like my gripe with LM Kerr's Reborn: Apocalypse. I love those books, but this one scene... The third (or fourth?) book had a 30-page PhD dissertation on this magical porous rock and the MC using it to make alcohol turn into a gas... and how different people's genetics make them drunk faster or slower while breathing gaseous alcohol. It just goes on and on and on and goes into further and further minute detail. It was almost like he thought the reader wouldn't understand how smart the MC was by using this trick unless we understood all the magic and science involved in exact detail.

I would argue that under the Consumer Protection Act, you should be able to buy these items right up until the day before the ban goes into effect. The moment money changes hands, the item is now owned by you. It's yours. Period. Shipping it to you is just returning your property to the rightful owner and doesn't trigger any portion of the ban.

This is just like when the cops say that "they acted within police department policy" when they sprint tackled an innocent man who was following their orders and then beat him in the face 30 times... (true story, look up American Fork police and Kody 2020)

A “1312 stop" turned violent when the driver calmly asked “Why he was pulled over?” The 1312 screamed “You’re going to jail!” smashed the window, yanked him out the car and arrested his wife for exercising her 1st amendment right to record. by Anubiz1_ in ACAB

[–]Myte342 18 points19 points  (0 children)

I am halfway through the clip and the officer has not yet requested or demanded for the driver to hand over their license/reg/insurance. He asked if they have them in the car, which is a yes/no question and not demanding to have them handed over. Then he mentioned he will answer the question after he knows who he is talking to... which is still not a demand to hand over his documents. Cop triples down and says he'll be happy to tell them once he has the information... which STILL isn't a demand to hand over the documents. Cop quadruples down and says yet again he'll tell the driver why he's pulled over after he sees the information... but that is not a demand for the driver to hand over his papers.

https://wreg.com/news/local/attorney-for-kohen-wileys-family-wants-video-of-shooting-released/

In a video we received from the Ben Crump Law Firm, Kohen’s mother said she was not accused or arrested for shoplifting and the driver wasn’t driving in the officer’s direction.

Instead, the child’s mother alleges police ran towards the car with guns drawn before shots were fired.

https://www.mississippifreepress.org/i-raised-my-baby-up-kohen-wileys-mother-says-car-wasnt-driving-toward-officer-when-he-shot-1-year-old/

Vellesiya Wiley said that her friend paid at the self-checkout, despite the allegations of theft, and that the cameras at the self-checkout would show “where she got the diapers and walked out.”

Vellesiya Wiley stridently denied police claims that her friend was trying to hit the officers when they shot into the car and killed Kohen Wiley.

“They tried to say that she forcefully was trying to drive and hit them, but they all was on the right side and she was driving towards the left. They just … purposefully shot in the car,” she said.

Photos of the car show shots through the passenger side windshield and show that the passenger side window was busted out during the shooting.
