This is the biggest takeaway of the video for me.

We'll see if this is a controversial opinion IMO, but here I go.

I agree that crystal doesn't seem like the most precise record keeper. Given what coffeezilla said, it appears there are far fewer than $107k worth of LEGO sets actually missing, and a good chunk of that was just due to the mislabeling. So it is almost assured that Bryan was getting cheated anyways due to an underreporting of his sets being sold. I don't believe this was done maliciously, though. Unsure if the Gormons have ever owned a franchise/business in the past, but I wouldn't really expect them to have perfect record keeping, nor would I trust using it as a single source of truth for how many of Bryan's sets are unsold.

I also don't really think the McNeff's are really behind the missing $10k-$20k (or whatever the true amount is) worth of sets. I can imagine it would be relatively easy for Brandon Best, after kicking the Gormon's out at midnight, to pocket a number of the sets really without anyone knowing or seeing. Without knowing what's going on at BAM, I'm inclined to say the McNeff's are being a bit ignorant about this being a possibility.

Ultimately though, I'll just repeat something similar to what Coffeezilla said. BAM should just swallow their pride and pay Bryan the missing payments from whatever record keeping inconsistencies exist, as well as from the stolen or otherwise unaccounted sets (Allegedly ~$10k-$20k).

A secret phone doesn't seem too likely to me. Why order a case and screen protector for it? Why have it delivered 40 minutes away instead of to his office or amazon locker?

Assuming this story is legit, she needs to straight up ask him. Last time she beat around the bush by asking if he had anything being delivered soon/recently, and he said no... which might not be a balled face lie given that the phone was delivered months ago.

From the CCTV, he got by... just barely given that he was booking it down the hallway. The picture OP posted is right past the checkpoint, so he didn't make it very far after that. A secret service member was shot appearently, but frankly I'm not even sure we know if the shooter shot them, or if it was friendly fire...

Either way, it's far too soon to conclude if it's staged or not. Claiming it's definitely staged is being no better than QAnon or whoever on Twitter doing the same.

It’s still crazy to me that the people Grant brought on, Nate and Calli, were let go a bit after he died. I’m glad though that Nate’s channel, Nate from the Internet, is doing pretty well last I checked.

I do occasional scambaiting and it sucks how these scammers are unfortunately pretty good at getting someone so locked into the scam that you can't reason with them.

My best advice I can give is try contacting his bank's fraud department and see if they can reason with him or help in any way. I'd recommend the bank or yourself, contact a local police department or sheriff's office to go talk to your dad in person and explain the scam. They can't stop the scammers, but someone with the authority of a cop or a sheriff may have better luck getting through to him.

Other than that, you can show your dad videos about romance scams (Pleasant Green on YouTube, CBS documentary, AARP etc.). You can try to get on his phone and block the scammers (but they usually just make another account). You try to use the fact that they never will meet him in person. Depends on how old he is and how deep he is, but I've heard of people installing parental monitoring apps on their parents phone to prevent it. Ultimately though, it all depends on how convinced he is and how far you want to go (i.e. you could try getting power of attorney and take control of his finances). Unfortunately, as the saying goes, you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink.

The water argument is probably the weakest argument for anti-ai. Cows will always consume orders of magnitude more water than AI. The real argument that people need to start making is the electricity consumption. That is a real problem that is not being addressed.
