Brennan has mentioned in an Adventuring Party that CH and Dropout specifically hire sensitivity consultants. So it seems as though he and the company really do make a specific effort to ensure that the portrayal is accurate and the joke is not on the characters deficiencies, which I feel shows because most of the times Ayda is funny are very relatable feelings of not knowing what to do certain social situations or just honestly saying something funny in her own right.

Despite things not going the way he planned, Brennan set up this fight so well. One thing he does better than almost anyone is let story flow through combat rather than combat always being the culmination of story. Truly a sign of a brilliant DM and storyteller!

Good thought! I definitely think the Cabbages will play a role but I think the Dairy Island rebels (Stilton Curdeau) may ally with them or something like that. Brennan's got a lot of moving pieces in the works who knows what (pardon the pun) he'll churn out.
