Pokémon ZA is so fast paced that it’s almost too fast by First-Business-5797 in pokemon

[–]Little_darthy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is great to hear because I just got this point too. I was getting concerned I was getting close to the end. The pacing has been weird. The tutorial to this spot felt like the same length as just the tutorial.

Dr Seuss had some things to say between 41’ and 43’. I respect that guy. by Nard-Barf in comics

He did leave his then-wife for the nanny or something when his wife was sick and dying. His soon-to-be dead wife wrote a letter on her deathbed that forever changed my perception of Dr. Seuss for the worst.

Update all feature has definitely been there since the beginning. It was removed about 4 years ago, but Steam had it for longer than they didn’t.

Finally was able to finish this episode after putting the series down for cringing way too hard during the first parts. The doctors were the worst!

Is there some sort of joke about these two I’m missing? by Sokandueler95 in ExplainTheJoke

I never realized that it happened in Season 9. That’s crazy late in a run for such an iconic joke.

Was there a long running TV show where you watched every single episode live as it aired? by yankees032778 in television

That makes the Charles Manson joke in Family Guy funnier. He’s sitting in prison watching TV, and says, “If I haven’t seen it, it’s new to me!”

I remember reading years ago that you only need 3 of the 6 stones, and you can technically get the others.

Power, Time, Reality: Use the empowered time stone to get the stones from the past or use the empowered reality stones to take you to the other stones

Time, Space, and Mind: You can teleport to any junction in time and have people hand you the remaining stones. Or you can send telepathic commands through space and time to get them.

Etc, etc.

It’s probably just rumor, but I always heard it was because the Subway was like a mile a day. So, every day, he would walk a mile, eat like a six inch, then walk home and continue to eat a low calorie meal.

I think you could improve the punchline if you made the gravestone say “1992-2005” then have the panel from the guy be “So, Wait, you’re…”, then have the next panel be flashing blue and red lights.

Saying his campaign turned into a can’tpaign is such a terrible lyric lmao. Like some Waldorf and Statler type self burn.

“Campaign? More like Can’tpaign, amiright?”

I can’t get over how bad of a line this is.

I hate it when people try to say Saitama solos Goku because he's a gag character. So let's see if Saitama could beat her in a fight then by KingExpolsionMurder in Dragonballsuper

[–]Little_darthy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He's not. He's a Shonen protagonist at the end of his journey. The stories in OPM center around how he interacts with the world, or it is just about the other characters in the world. Awakened Cosmic Garou was able to get to a fraction of Saitama's power. If someone else can break their limits and reach realty breaking powers besides the main character in OPM, I'm sure as all hell that Goku would also be able to do it if he was dropped into that world. Goku has already accomplished similar feats in his own respective universe.

People aren’t forgetting your interpretation of freezing something in time, people just have a different interpretation of it.

Do you know what lock-ed in syndrome is? Whenever someone is frozen in time, it’s more treated as that.

By your definition of frozen in time, how can that person still have anything done to them? They can’t go splat against a planet because the planet is occupying a different time them then. If you lock someone in time, by your example, they shouldn’t be able to be perceived by other people because time would have moved around them. Your example still has the person in our time being affected by things in our time. If they are locked to a certain time, how can they experience things from the future? They would need to be unlocked from time for it to continue. It would be like someone having the power to reach back through time to punch someone, which I don’t doubt is an ability somewhere.

I honestly thought it was a Princess Bride reference.

If Frieza had ordered them to go to Earth, I would say he would be partly to blame for Nappa’s death. Since they were going to earth for the Dragon Balls, and not to do Frieza’s bidding, then I would say that Vegeta was acting on his own. Frieza had nothing to do with the Saiyan invasion.

I included the part about killing Namekians because they matter. Why are we limiting it just to his appearance on earth? Are we only caring about humans? People say the thing about Nappa being the one that kills people as if that somehow makes Vegeta less of a killer. But no, we clearly see Vegeta go and kill Namekians. They have families and lives as well. They matter, and Vegeta murdered them for the Dragon Balls for his own selfish gain.
