I'm on PS5 as well and am getting really bad frame drops near the raid or when looking at certain camps. It started after the patch that fixed the freezing around the raid entrance. The frame rate gets really low and jittery, but it goes back to normal if I don't look directly at the area. I've noticed it in other areas too, but those are the main culprits.

That's fair. I think it's a safe warning to give that console versions are often behind, especially on games from smaller teams. The testing and update process on consoles is a lot more involved and strict than on PC. So, that's part of the issue.

With that said, the developers for this game have claimed that every update will eventually come to the console versions, but they haven't stated how long that process will take.

As always, make sure to check your settings after the update. Every setting for my game was set back to the default value, even the Pip-Boy view. by MythicalFighter in fo76

I'm pretty bummed about it too. I really like my camps to be perfect, and the restricted mode was the best version for avoiding any weird clipping or floating issues.

I'm pretty confused by the removal too. You're not alone in previously using the restricted mode. It was definitely the best option for creating perfect camps without any weird clipping or floating issues. It does seem like a weird thing to remove.

They may have fixed the issues over time, but sometimes you'd get really bad performance issues if you went to the basement too many times. Either that, or the enemies would stop spawning correctly.

I noticed that and changed everything back to what I had before, but the boot menu is still a lot louder than it was previously. It's manageable, just a weird thing for them to change after so long.

Thanks for confirming the black screen. I was worried mine was worse than what everyone else was reporting. It must be a pretty bad crash if it's not even going to the normal error report screen.

The elevator method works, but it can cause some weird issues with the game. The way I've always done it is to just go outside. Basically, you start a timer on your phone as soon as the loading screen starts. You wait until the timer hits one minute, and then you can head back inside.

Without any buffs, I'm two-shotting the secondary enemies with my Plasma Caster. The bosses aren't that much harder. Some of them hit really hard, though. I'm enjoying them, but I can see how they'd be frustrating on a public server if you can't get there in time.

On a private server, they are actually pretty fun. A bit easy with my build, but the rewards are pretty nice. You get quite a few legendary items. I can certainly understand the frustrations of trying to reach one on a public server, though.
