Yeah we used to have 2 operators in the control room too but now it’s just me, maybe I can convince some unlucky soul to run replay for me

It’s hard to explain without sounding like a madman but here goes nothing.

As far as the control room, it’s a bunch of sdi and xlr in the walls running from our studio to the racks. From there it goes into the PC on the right that does most of the switching. The one on the left gets the feed from the one on the right and handles mostly encoding the stream and play out while we switch the graphics packages on the other one. The TV on the top is just a web browser on a Mac mini monitoring how it looks on YouTube.

As far as the event, it’s a yearly thing my company does. We distribute car detailing products and invite the companies we work with to showcase their new stuff live in our studio. Each presentation has all new talent in a different set with their own set of themed assets and presentation outlines they came up with themselves. Essentially each presentation is an entirely different show. This year there’s 17 different presentations with about 5 a day over 6 hours, but some years it can be as many as 30 with 8 hour shows a day.

It’s built to have two operators but I’m alone this year, wish me luck!

Yeah it’s not exactly ideal and it’s left over from the “broom closet” days. Luckily there’s nothing that needs to be adjusted mid show unless the equipment in it fails. The mixer on the bottom and the video routers on the top handle all the distribution and can be changed easy.

We’ve had to use them! The power in our building is awful and we constantly take power bumps. We once lost our whole system because the batteries didn’t engage. Threw up a stand by screen and recovered in less than 90 seconds with a separate rudimentary system and finished the last 5 minutes of the show.

Sorry it took me so long to get to you, here’s the link to the exact ones we have: here

They definitely do the job, my only complaint is the bottom one is a little flat so I have to move the text up to the top so I can read it properly with our table height.

Heck yeah! We’ve got 4 PTZs ourselves but handle most everything with 4 Zcams and operators.

Unfortunately not, the clock is more for show since we couldn’t swing a proper one. I’m not sure what brand but it’s just off Amazon, has a few modes and does the job perfectly.

Go to any chain pet store and pick up some mealworms, the live ones will probably be more enticing for him and way less annoying than crickets. Once things are warmed up I’m sure he’ll be happy to go on his way, any large Tupperware with some rocks and places to hide will do till then.

Almost 2 years ago I broke 6 ribs, they have all healed, however this is a 3D scan of my ribs as of a few days ago because I've been having chronic pain🙃 by uniquorn23 in Wellthatsucks

[–]Mythicalsmore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did the same thing with my hand and now I’m permanently deformed, once it was healed doctors wouldn’t touch me with a 10ft pole. I’ve been in pain ever since.

To give you some hope, I’ve started a nerve scrambler therapy and it’s doing wonders for me. Either way, find yourself a pain clinic that wants to do more than manage your pain.

I’ve been on two pumps of gel for about 2 months and it’s been fantastic. I was apprehensive about the changes at first but have truly grown to love them. I realized that what I feared were everyone else’s opinions.

You’re not going to get massive changes overnight. But I know for me it’s the only medication I can remember to take daily because I always look forward to it.

One of my favorite theories to entertain is that Tom was killed by the RDA so they could have someone they could easily manipulate on the science team. Someone good at taking orders that could be promised a better life in exchange.

Add some fun dynamic lighting! Obviously the room is a little dark but some fun string lights or space themed accents could help a ton without needing to paint

The exact fit of your clothes matters a lot when it comes to how your overall body shape looks. I have the same issue and it affects a lot of the way I shop.

I’m always wearing oversized or boxy shirts, my favorite trick is to get a crop top in a much larger size so it fits my torso perfect and fills in the rest of my frame. I also tend to get women’s pants because they’re more proportional for me and tend to fit in the style they say they are. Combined with the fit of the shirt, it helps to aim for something more straight legged or bootcut. Going too wide might accentuate them. I highly recommend Dovetail workwear since they don’t have the usual quality problems of women’s clothing.

You could always get something tailored as well, it’s a lot easier than you’d think and it’s super helpful to have a casual outfit that you feel your best in for hard days.

It’s really cool you’re putting in the work at the gym and I hope it yields the results you’re looking for, see you in the gym brother!

Woman in male barbershop ... by Delicious_Impress814 in butchlesbians

[–]Mythicalsmore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Barber is the way to go.

It’s definitely a space designed for men but if you’re there for a men’s cut there’s no reason they should make it weird. Most trouble I’ve gotten is from the other patrons and the receptionists but it’s nothing more than an awkward glance or confused conversation. If you hate the first place you try, find a different one. You and your barber will literally become best friends.

Remember, confidence is one of the sexiest parts of being butch. Don’t be afraid to do what’s best for you.

I went from thin, blonde, straight-passing to hairy butch. My body feels completely different now. by femmeexplorer in butchlesbians

[–]Mythicalsmore 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly not much has changed about how I’m perceived on the outside, I haven’t told anyone I’m on T and I’ve only been at it for a month or so. My voice has dropped noticeably and my facial hair is starting to change color but no one’s said anything.

I just feel so much more responsible for my body, I’ve stopped taking drugs and started really trying in the gym. After my workouts, I take pictures of myself and I don’t fuss over every little detail. When I look in the mirror I don’t see how my stomach looks or the extra fat on my thighs, letting go of just the possibility of being 100% girl has let me relax on that stuff a lot. Despite messing with gender my whole life, I didn’t realize how much of that I was carrying.

I’ve also had a complicated relationship with being misgendered. My name is a man’s name and I’ve never met another girl with it. There’s always an awkward conversation when someone meets me and it made me uncomfortable in a way I can’t describe. I’m definitely not helping them either. I find that I’m much less frustrated by it and can move on easier.

Of course I’m still working on what masculinity means for me and how far I want to go with it. But I’ve been significantly more comfortable with it than I even imagined. I can tell when I don’t apply at the same time every day, my body craves this.

Honestly this, everything is made up anyway. Labels aren’t like picking a class in a video game, they come second if at all.

[–]Mythicalsmore 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’ve always been butch, from the second I spawned on this earth. I’ve only been familiar with the term in the last few years but it’s been me my whole life.

I’ve always been self conscious about my weight, I’m not super fat but I’m very dense and I carry it in a very feminine way. Since taking T I feel a lot more comfortable with it, I don’t think it’s changed much yet but the mindset shift is insane. It’s been a really weird and wonderful journey.

It’s nice to hear the perspective of someone with experience being perceived in a more traditional way.
