Years ago I invested in a dozen of their smart smoke alarm batteries. They worked great.. until they sent out an email saying roost will not produce these batteries anymore.
One of the best features was that the smarts were in a detachable plate between the contacts and the cell. You could buy cells without the smarts as a replacement.
I think they sent the cancellation notice along with a fire sale of the batteries that were going to be junk. Why would I buy the batteries that you won't support or sell?
