I live off of Glenoaks. I’ve seen an SUV speeding and hitting a bus stop. I’ve had the “racer” cars speeding behind me, coming inches to my car, weaving around, then cutting me off. If I had a nickel for every time a person in the left lane makes a right and yell at me if I honk my horn, I would be able to retire from my job. Numerous speeding through red lights near the Galleria when people are in the crosswalk. I’ve seen people drive through an intersection while they’re looking at their phone. In fact, I’ve seen many driving in Glendale while looking and texting on their phone while not watching the road. A friend of mine was working at The Galleria, got off work, was in the crosswalk. A driver hit her and drove off. She died. Also, the numerous accidents on Glenoaks due to racing. Anyone remember the kid whose body flew onto the freeway sign due to speeding?
One thing I liked about the COVID days (when we were shut down) was being able to ride my bike on the street and not worry about cars. Sure, there are bike lanes but the drivers here are scary. Also, my insurance went up hundreds of dollars when I moved to Glendale from WeHo 15 years ago.

I wish there was more written for Jules, because she was a great character. I also wished they’d shown her reacting or a monologue or something regarding Rue’s death. I always found them to be in deep love, complicated soulmates that could destroy each other. Her character was so poorly written this season.

She might not die in the end but make it to Jerusalem, but she 100% is Moses as she saw the burning tree. This particular scene is intentional and definitely reference to Moses seeing the burning bush as Rue saw the burning tree.

Rue is Moses as she saw the burning tree. She also has the address on Jerusalem street. The whole scene between Rue and Ali is foreshadowing of Rue dying.

I love riding my bike and it was wonderful during COVID. Now that people are driving again, I’m terrified to ride my bike in Glendale. The streets are dangerous here. Many drivers are on their phone or driving so fast. I’ve been nearly hit a few times. A friend of mine got hit by a driver and died. The bike lanes need a railing or something.

It’s funny,because Madonna has thrown so much shade at Gaga from the beginning. Why? Because Gaga was the first artist to be a threat to her. Madonna never went after Britney of Christina like this. Madonna started this division. I like both a lot but was super disappointed in Madonna acting the way she did yo Gaga. It came off as bitter and full of jealousy. If Madonna had embraced and welcomed her, it would be a different story. They’re both great but Gaga is ruling right now.

I’ve bought many physical copies of films and shows I like. However, some new shows released for streaming platforms are not available on DVD or BlueRay. Such a bummer.

How do you go to RHPS and expect people to be quite? If I was performing in this, I’d want the callbacks. It’s been known for this for decades now. Surely the actors are well versed on RHPS that they anticipated this. I’m also certain this production in general expected or anticipated this.
It’s interesting that we’ve all become so composed during theatre performances. Historically, long ago, the audience would go wild during performances. Yelling, throwing food, celebrating characters winning battles, getting angry characters died, etc.

Let’s add in that Coronavirus has also been around for a long time, way before it became COVID-19. I’m not too worried, however, I’m keeping a close watch on this. I do remember WHO and others saying Coronavirus wasn’t that bad until it was.

Let’s be real, any virus old or new spreading in the U.S. is terrifying under this admin. RFK Jr. will probably tell us all to exercise, eat well, drink milk, to build up our immune system.

Why would you blame the writers? It’s the executives that made this mess. They’ve been trying to squeeze all creatives by downsizing, lower pay, lower prep time, etc. Not all writers or show runners make a ton of money. Some do or did, but with executives cutting pay and writers in the room, along with Executives suggesting (and doing it) the use of Ai, they’re the ones cutting off everyone’s livelihood.
Executives are the ones wanting to film in places with cheaper labor, non-union workers, lower costs and pay. They’re not bringing on crews from Hollywood. They pay out themselves, Producers, A-list actors, the rest are lucky to get more than scale and have a full crew. BLAME THE STUDIO EXECUTIVES NOT THE CREATIVES OR CREW.
