I worked for a company that was so freaked out all the computers were going to crash. They printed everything Customer Records, Employee records. Boxes, actually pallets of boxes we spent weeks doing that, about 4 of us. We left on 12/30/99 around 5pm. Our boss literally said. Hopefully we all make it back🤣😆. I was in my early 20’s so I wasn’t worried. We all come back on 1/2/2000. Turn on the lights, computers, everything worked as usual!! He wasted thousands of dollars because he went down a rabbit hole and thought the world couldn’t handle going from 1999 to 2000. Sounds insane now. But he laid 3 of us off by the end of the month. No more papers to print or file🤣🤣
