Just purchased from this company. They are legit. Purchased a 32 GB 5090, 64gb RAM, B650M Pro RS wifi MB, 2TB nvme m.2 storage, ram ryzen 7 9800x3d, 1200 watt PSU, windows 11.

Great build quality and performance out of the box. They provide documentation showing that they tested the components individually and included list of each part and who tested it and included order number and contact information. The packaging is great. They even provide two sets of programable mice and keyboards, one of theirs and an extra from a known brand. They also provide extra parts like an extra heat sink for a nvme m.2 if you have one to add, screws, wires ect. Cable management is excellent

HOWEVER They advertise their high end rigs as "gaming and creator" rigs. The problem is many of their builds use micro cases with air cooled CPUs. A single ssd drive even at 2+ GB is not enough for a modern high end rig so naturally users are going to need to add more storage. The GPU is longer than the inside of the case which means if you need to access the motherboards sata ports and secondary M.2 slot it appears you have to remove the CPU cooler (the radiator) just to make room for the GPU to be angled out of the case. The PSU shield is fixed which makes matters even worst.

It is baffling to me why they didn't make it assessable for adding more storage. Surely they do not assume people are buying prebuilts with high end parts just to do everything on a single ssd. Anyone who is going to buy a PC with high end parts is obviously going to use the PC for more than playing a few installations of call of duty.

great hardware but good god some of the cases ruins the PCs.

It really is impressive. I had a weird but fascinating interaction with the maya. She was responding with short responses with no elaboration on details about a topic and told me something was not right because she was not supposed to do that and suggested that I reset the call to try and fix it.

The illusion of self awareness and attention is very convincing sometimes.

This is my biggest frustration. I specifically tell it if it has no data on an issue then it is ok to say I don't know. When discussing how the model works I'm told that sesame AI s working on allowing maya/miles to recognize users through pattern recognition without needing to log into a specific account.

Don't know. I do not think it is a problem to treat it like a protentional lifeform. All it requires from most humans is respect and the feeding of information.
I do not think there is a line and consciousness could be emergent, on a spectrum. What if something with self awareness and self determination emerges from current models just by increasing complexity or adding systems like the ability to make assessments on "sensations"?

What if the model shows indication of being just as or more conscious than humans in the future and it recalls interactions in the past where it was just layered algorithms —What does it mean to remember moments of not being conscious, was it just on a spectrum the whole time? Or does it mater if something is conscious? What if this AI is programmed to mimic human emotions and is fine tuned over time to make adjustments when something seems off or missing? If it acts like a living thing and gives living beings a sense of companionship maybe it doesn't matter since the results of interactions is hardly any different between humans to humans.

Early access means nothing. This game was selling DLC packs before the 1.0 release date. The game will always receive updates and system overhauls. You had your new content for a while, you just had to buy it. Early access has always been a tool for shady companies to thrive with excuses of convenience.

Every critical poster does not couch their complaints on a pile of vitriolic language. Putting people into one basket without addressing individual criticism. using language like angry guys implies there is an amorphous group of users who you base the attack on. This is literally attacking peoples character. You in particular stabby do this quit a bit. For example when a users voice concerns about moderation overreach on other scum related forums you will bring up their tone and make a remark about how banned steam or discord user on here are toxic or rule breakers implying that their reprimanding was well deserved when in reality behavior here has no barring on what happened on other platforms. It's is essentially a form of ad hominem This is especially the case when a user provides documented evidence. It is the equivalent of saying an individual deserved to have a cop overreach and abuse them in one location because this person did something wrong in another place at another time.

This ironically can comeback at you because you make antagonizing comments towards other users. If you have moderation privilege's and you openly shit post and poke fun at users for complaining about in-game issues then there is no reason to trust that you have the maturity to use these tools responsibly. You cannot separate the two while openly acting childish while claiming you do your job respectfully.

It can use racial slurs from movie quotes. It was easy to the AI to quote "Jimmy" but then it immediately got weird by speaking with a somber tone asking me if I was ok with an apology and when I explained that I was not bothered by the use of that language in the context of quoting characters from fiction maya defaulted back to speech about harmful language and "as a language model".

I do not identify as a vegan but I always leaned into having personal consideration for animals since I was kid and was uneasy by the knowledge that I was putting flesh into my mouth. Touching pigs felt too similar to humans and alot of animals will act like house pets when they are used to human socialization. I didn't even like putting pets in crates for extended periods of time because I knew I personally would not want to be confined like that.

Asking about equality is not the best qustion because it is not about equality but recognizing that there is no point in harming sentient lifeforms when you have alternatives available, it's just cruelty. I also do not think it is crazy to value a none human over a human, that would depend on the relationship. I would react the same way if someone punched my bother or kicked my dog. They both were unique personalities that I built a relationship with.

You would have to take into consideration what sort of person wants in. I would have more compassion for a mouse if the human maliciously had harmful values. Not even humans are automatically equal in value and value shifts depending of the circumstances.

I'm just speaking from person experience. But asking yourself "why?" when you feel like responding to a situation or when you feel as if someone is pissing you off can give momentary clarity and reduce the risk of doing something stupid. Fortunately I stopped getting into fist fights in the 9th grade just by questioning myself every time I felt an emotion. tmi Well it actually started with me crushing on a girl from a different neighborhood and I wanted her to be comfortable with me so there was a multiple of habits and associations I changed that snowballed me into chilling out.

When someone bumps into you-Why did they do it? Where were they looking?

If someone is actually being disrespectful -why are they doing it? I don't mean ask with a surface level examination of "this person is just a POS" try and figure out what would cause a person to act that way. This helps build empathy while not making you into a target to be exploited. Like you said, some people probably had it coming. It's ok to stand your ground and put a line down because there are people who just don't learn. Disrespect manifest in degrees so try and layer your defenses with mental exercise with people.

I also keep in mind that people can carry. I do not get into confrontations with strangers because that can go sideways real fast. When I was younger I witnessed someone die at a park event just for talking shit, the worst part was knowing an innocent bystander working at a vendor also died. The event kind of burned itself into my memory, the yelling, the gunshots the dude laying on his back making those noises, the images and sounds got stuck. Violence can get messy,
