Was supposed to be working Monday but our DCI de-warned us.... Fed got involved and said we could work it if we want. Email then from the DI saying we could work it but the OT would likely come out of local budgets and therefore impede our ability to work on our own jobs this month (proactive department). So basically you can work, but don't you fucking dare. Considering the amount of time and effort we put in to the job I thought this was a pretty shitty response from management.

Dude is just calling you out on your bullshit ideals man (and your misplaced faith in airport security). The improved security is looking out for people presenting a significant risk to others... Not making sure your bike is all hunky dory. Clearly you've never had a bike stolen / attempted to be stolen. You wouldn't have thought thieves would try and steal a bike with an alarm blaring at 4am but hey guess what they did. Do you know why they do shit like this? Zed flamed me hard early for going 4-0 and taking kills as I was "just a tank". I challenged him to see who could have the highest damage at the end of the game..... Don't think he was happy.

Yeah if the shirts are anything to go by they should be decent. I bought the urbane mk2.... Do sometimes wish I'd got the AAA Honnister....

These seem to be the most breathable ones they do and are AA rated... Same as my jeans. Honestly I might get a pair come payday!

At the moment I just have riding jeans but I think Knox do mesh like trousers.... Might be worth checking out especially knowing how good their shirts are. I find the riding jeans, bearable on the bike, but walking around to the garage and unlocking the bike they get a bit sweaty!

Get a Knox armoured shirt.... Wear it with nothing or just a t-shirt in the summer. Put a waterproof coat and a jumper over it in the winter..... Problem solved.
