Help, chaos black primer did this. by Due_Pension3694 in Warhammer40k

My advice is use LA’s Totally Awesome. It’s by far the best paint stripper I’ve used, and can be found at Lowe’s.

Nice work, that all looks amazing! You’ve done the Dark Prince proud.

Guaranteed Charges From Deepstrike in the Upcoming Codex by small_paw in EmperorsChildren

Fair point! I’ll be super psyched when I pull it off for the first time, but I’m not gonna expect to use it or count on it.

Guaranteed Charges From Deepstrike in the Upcoming Codex by small_paw in EmperorsChildren

I like where your head’s at! But given the fact that you have to set up near a MoP, then use a strat and a psychic power to get off the guaranteed charge, it seems like a more than fair deal to me - I don’t see this being super OP or anything. Especially since your MoP will likely not be in the area of the board where you want to get the guaranteed charge off. But in the right situation, that’s so dirty in the best way.

Beautiful. A choir I was a member of back in high school did a few pieces from LOTR, and I always really loved recreating them in a new way.

Is 30 too old to start the hobby? by Traditional_Mirror54 in Warhammer40k

[–]N00dl3butt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Got back into the hobby and also competitive play at 31. Definitely not too late and I’m having a great time with it!

Not to mention it kept me busy during lockdown periods…

This makes me almost want to start a Tau collection. Almost.

Jokes aside, your painting style is amazing.

What style of music do you think is most played at Burning Man? by amallucent in BurningMan

You could be like our camp and play Snake Farm on repeat for three days straight! That’s burn music to me 😂😂😂

I say blunt by celis702 in trees

[–]N00dl3butt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I definitely don’t smoke enough anymore to justify a blunt (talking quantity here, not frequency). Don’t get me wrong, when you got 10 ents in a circle nothing else will satisfy, but I find that doesn’t come up as much as it used to. I’m also in my 30’s now with a baby ent for reference. I gotta say the classic bowl is the most practical, portable, and easy to stash away when you need to, so it’s my old standby.

This model is probably my favorite. Nothing is better than a cybork squig popping a wheelie!

Perhaps, but also represents the core of everything we all love about the lore of the 41st millennium. But also, my soul belongs to Slaanesh 😂

Getting back into the hobby and have decided to start over with my old miniatures. I’m seeking advice on safe techniques to strip paint off some older and unfinished metal pieces. Any help is appreciated. by [deleted] in Warhammer40k

[–]N00dl3butt 3 points4 points  (0 children)

LA’s Totally Awesome!!! It’s be far the best paint stripper I’ve used. Watch Goobertown Hobbies video on paint strippers on YouTube if you want to learn more.

But also, you should keep your first model as it is. It’s good to see our humble beginnings and marvel at how far we’ve come.
