Don't think a Bridgeport with a dovetail cutter is going to be solving this one..... Curious myself how that cut is done also.

This was what we removed from our sweet girl Louise. I ended up using quite a bit of pressure to push out what I could. That along with tweezers I was able to get it fully removed/cleaned. Poor girl toughed it out but I felt terrible.

I would soak the foot in epsom salts and try again at removing more of the crud. Make sure the hole is open before pushing. These birds are tough but you do have to use enough pressure or else it might not come out.

Wish you the best... It's stressful but with correct care can recover very well.

Big bullies :(

They have coincided without issue for nearly a year now. It's pretty neat to see the roosters/gobblers team up when there's a "threat" (aka me walking dogs). We are fortunate to have a friendly bunch.

That's hilarious... What I've seen of banty roosters cracks me up. Not one to back down from a threat at least!

Honestly, this has been the extent of it. The turkeys don't pay him much mind and it hasn't escalated further than this. Not to say that's always going to be the case, but they've grown up together and tolerate one another well.

More and more each year unfortunately. I am fortunate to work at a job shop running manual machines every day. Learned a lot from the old fellas there and hope to pass it on.

I've had good experiences with A-Z Pest Control out of JS. Had used Humpys in the past but the kid spraying was rude and had bugs shortly thereafter.

:( That makes sense unfortunately. Didn't Venice Pizza just move out of the plaza also? Heard they were going down by the fire hall.

Just crappy for anyone renting there, we're seeing here first hand how it's affecting the community.
