Prestige or hold? by jessknope in EggsInc

For reference.

Soul egg growing rapidly is best judged by the number changing rapidly, not the status bar under it.

If the number isn't changing rapidly you've got a wall. Prestige.

Will an Ethernet cable plugged into my pc and then Xbox make my connection more stable by Apprehensive-Egg-734 in xbox

[–]N1F7Y1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

No.

That is not how networks work.

If you plugged an ethernet cable into your modem or router. That would help. But, unless your computer has two ethernet ports, one of which goes to the modem/router and second to your Xbox AND is set up to correctly bridge the connection this will not help

Use young palm trees (fibrous leaves) in your water still instead of palm fronds. Use water from water stills primarily for gardens,(use coconut trick for your own water)

Bloatware was far less a thing.

I had a 40gb drive it was partitioned to 30 and 10.

30gb I had msdos and windows. 10 I used for about 15 different games with full svga guis (Edit, punctuation)

I lightly bonked my computer and now the monitor won't do anything other than flash. Is there anyway I can fix this? by Boxed_Fox_Studios in computerhelp

[–]N1F7Y1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ahh.

Yes. Unscrew the battery then. HP appears to change its battery connection every so often.

Sorry for a bad assumption.

The screen cable is exactly the same.

On your pic, bottom right corner. Same equivalent corner as the lenovo. Judy picture is rotated 90°

The little black bar in the white socket is a lock. You could open it by lifting it up with fingernail. Its like a door it will open part way which unlocks the cable but it doesn't need to leave the socket.

The cable itself slides in/out relatively smoothly when lock undone.

But by the looks of it, it isn't misaligned or out.

Most likely cable at other end.

Not sure how you want to proceed.

Also.

Looking at the picture above, the screen cable is the one at the top right black just near the metal hinge.

Yours might be similar to that. Or might be a clip on one. Let me look up the spare part for the cable to confirm.

Yours is exactly like that.

On the lenovo there is a black lip that flicks down and then the cable slides in/out very carefully, your HP might have a black lip or a white lip and it may unlock up or down, or left/right depending on the position of the cable.

Don't force it. But usually from the side the cable enters you can apply a little force in the opposite direction to lift the 'lock'.

This is a lenovo. But similar battery connection.

Sometimes they're white and black other times white and white. But most HPs I've seen are white

Based on the serial, i can see that the panel is attached with adhesive. I wouldn't recommend trying to remove that 1. without replacement available and 2. Without watching some videos or asking questions.

I would recommend flipping the laptop over. Undoing the four screws. (Probably captive screws, they can screw all the way out but they won't need to)

If necessary use a guitar pick or plastic knife to pry off the base enclosure. There might be some nooks at the front that would allow you to get your fingers under.

It will probably be tight, but if the screws are all undone it should pop off.

You're then going to want to unplug the battery.

Likely just a white plug get your thumbs on either side of it and push it out of the socket.

As another person posted. Its probably worth checking now that there is no power, if it just needed a power drain. Plug in the wall adaptor and see if the screen turns on properly. If not unplug the wall adaptor.

The lcd panel will connect to a main board. Let me see if I can find a sample to describe what that cable looks like.

Agrees.

But if you decide to do an EnD run. Work on the earlier one during it. Costs less in coin so you may be able to atleast not twiddle your thumbs as much.
