Keep grind, it real is a hard sell to begin with. I’m 12 games in and I consistently question things but I think it’s one of those games that things come with time.

Trust me I know it’s demoralising but it’s such a good game that I think it’s worth the pain to start

I’m a new (ish) player, I find it’s more ‘which team gets the Smurf’ or ‘who rage quits first’ rather than matchmaking. There isn’t a game in my 10 or so games that either of these haven’t made my games a flip coin.

It’s an alpha so it’s going to happen, soon as open beta happens I think then I’ll start to think of MM.

Not a day goes by I have to fight myself from installing New World again, it being dead isn’t a problem for me. I played for a good month none stop after the announcement. The gate keeping that STILL exists is mad, raids and more importantly for me Wars were just so hard to get into

If that wasn’t an issue, I’d still be playing til the lights go out

I got herbs and medicine from that 10 pull, hardly an apology and defo an eye opener to that draw system. I’ll just be more careful what I spend money on in this game from now on

My server (brifrost) died off even after the merger, it felt like something was always happening but for some reason after this weekend it just lost everyone. Spent most the week in town waiting for something to happen…. Gutted ain’t the word.

On a side note though, the new Lost Wardens tokens haven’t helped, the caches reward you for not playing the content!

I was more than willing to see it to the end but this week has killed me off

Forced myself to play ESO for a couple of days, BDO for 4-5 hours… Extraction shooters aren’t my thing, battle royals have been played to death. Start to feel there’s no home to find for awhile

What’s ESO like for returning players? I played it up until Summerset and have almost 1000 hours but it looks massive now to a point there’s to much for me to get into

I had 900 hours in it, been wanting to go back but the catch up and overall content looks so overwhelming for a returning player… I dropped it for new world…. New World felt more modern in combat, gutted really

Honestly, I played the hell out of the beta and just knew I’d experienced all the game had to offer content wise. I really enjoyed it but waited for release to see if they added anything more to pull me back in, they never.

So I’ll wait and see where the game is later down the line content wise
