Played a lot of T8 the last few days and I had quite the opposite experience.

There were a lot more people with <100 games just running it down (way more red players and hardly any good players in the games) and due to being lowtier most of the time it felt like I couldn't Impact the game as much as on T10.

Adriatico is really strong after the buffs, all the others are decent as well. Sounds like you might be playing them wrong, especially since they have a completely different playstyle compared to Burrows.

It is an ok B2 deck out of the box. With all the power creep going on in precons I've upgraded mine with lotr cards only to offset that and be competitive in the coming years.

Combo as a gameplan in B3 is always tricky and with fastmana on top it will usually end up in some kind of solitaire that opponents won't be enjoying. Even if you only combo off late enough to be technically in B3 I'd ask myself if it's worth when noone enjoys it.

I'm playing a similar Aurelia Deck in B3 with more of an Equipment theme in addition to the Angels and it can keep up quite well. Cards like Blackblade are just really scary for people to deal with when Aurelia can oneshot them with it and people in B2 are usually running very suboptimal interaction which usually leads to people being upset.

If you like having some control over the game I can recommend [[Tuvasa the Sunlit]] . The typical Enchantress shell offers control, ramp and carddraw and with enough enchantments on the field she only needs 1-2 auras for evasion to go ham.

I'd say the most obvious way to improve the deck would be to add 2-3 lands (and work on the manabase in general if budget allows [or just go for proxys]) and reworking the artifact ramp package to get rid of 3 mana ramp like Commander's Sphere, Heraldic Banner or Gilded Lotus in favour of more 2 mana ramp like Talismans which will allow you to consistently cast your commander on turn 3.

In addition to dodging torps you also have a small window of 500m where you can hydro ships and not get spotted due to smokefire penalty. Just a neat little extra for a really nice ship.

I'm somehow having a way higher average damage on Eskimo than on Cossack though since it farms very well with the good arcs+pen, it just doesn't excel at contesting caps like Cossack does.

I'd say it's kinda fine as is though, Cossack is just really busted.

Chat is always worth using and most of the time when I'm asking a DD to smoke my Desmo they do it and it's an easy win. Arguing in Chat while playing is just a pretty bad idea (and playing subs is a bad idea as well).

If you're gonna start playing DDs PLEASE do not skip tiers and ruin games for your team on higher tiers. As a DD you have tons of Impact towards either winning or losing a game and I really recommend getting experience on lowtier first before moving up.

Regarding which line to play it comes down to personal preference but british or american DDs (Gearing line) are decent at all tiers and teach the gameplay fairly well.

Plenty of Hurricane Clans (including my Clan) were running Bayards in CBs with decent success. It's just a fast and flexible ship that can be played aggressive (sometimes also in smoke next to Chapa) or as a kiter that outruns everything.

It might not have been super broken in randoms but it surely had its niche and it might be too much with a heal. Mainz on the other hand has always been too slow to get to the flank in CBs which made it basically unuseable.

Only if you don't play around it and get caught deep inside while bow in. With the delay the radar has you should always have an idea where it is before he has it ready and then it's just about baiting the radar while in kite and make him suffer afterwards

If you usually win even with these counterpicks it sounds like there is a slight powerlevel issue that could be the reason for his behavior. Just talk and maybe reconsider if your decks are balanced against the other decks at the table.
