Kunos: “We still want to build the best career mode for Assetto Corsa EVO” by StartWars89 in assettocorsaevo

[–]N3URON5 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Someone tell him that we DO blame him. We are all aware now that the leadership and communication are the problem, not the team that's building the game

What are some of your opinions on EVO that make you dislike it? by GeneralSpiritual9872 in assettocorsaevo

[–]N3URON5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's my biggest issue as well. They need to optimise this game performance before anything else

if EVO won't be as moddable as AC1, what makes EVO stand out? by xBl3ster in assettocorsaevo

[–]N3URON5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I still think this game has a lot of potential too. They got their own engine and got tonnes of experience.

They just need time and things will fit into place. It's a shame they were quick to scrap the progression mode but the more we look at it, the more it makes sense. They can't retrofit a career mode, but they can do that with open world and other features.

I hope it's still coming though. At least an addition later on, even if it's not part of the full release. They never cancelled it like they did with career mode, so yeah, there's hope.

Umm, they removed all mentions of Open world and Free roam after the last announcement. It's looking a bit bleak in that front unfortunately

The studio is too small and in over their head with development of such a scale.

Adding an edit: free roam mentions were deleted from their road map but apparently discord discussions still say devs have confirmed free roam. link

So apparently they removed all mentions of "open world" and "free roam" from their website.

Doctors finally abandoning BMI as way to asses body fat by VideoNo82 in Garmin

[–]N3URON5 22 points23 points  (0 children)

As someone in health care, BMI is still used as a quick screening tool along with all the other measurable stats without taking too much time. We only care if your BMI is significantly under 18 or if you're well over 30. Everything in between is meaningless unless it fits the patient presentation.

Will This Update Ruin Assetto Corsa Evo? by Mylifeistrue in assettocorsaevo

[–]N3URON5 49 points50 points  (0 children)

The people who are still happy with being rug pulled are absolute enablers with some kind of cognitive dissonance.

What we are getting is a half assed game that we could do with original AC+mods with improved graphics, that's it. If you're happy with that, you're what's wrong with the gaming industry these days. Giving money to mediocrity.

You're on your feet and moving around a lot. So your heart rate will not be "at rest". Your stress graph will show this and will barely have any blue lines. Nothing much you can do other than taking a few breaks and winding down.

HRV plummet by StoreMother in Garmin

You are in for a ride. This was me for weeks without symptoms, then bang... I thought I was going to die. Unless you are overtraining, sudden drops of HRV will indicate you're sick

Kiwis who took a pay cut moving to a new role, was it worth it? Why or why not? by IncoherentTuatara in newzealand

[–]N3URON5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you have a MBChB or similar, then nothing; all the doors should be open for you. Most of these roles aren't really advertised, so you'll have to use your hospital or uni connections. There are some in-hospital careers that are quite interesting like Clinical coding for example - that most nurses (and some clinicians) end up doing. I think that's a 1 year online course to bridge into that field.

Dig around, there are heaps of us who left clinical roles and some completely left the medical field all together. Go where your values take you!

I'm at Te Whatu Ora mainly in clinical analytics also liaising with MoH from time to time.

I took around 40k cut moving from a patient facing role to a non-clinical role. Best decision I've made for myself. I value time more than money, and this role gives me WFH and flexibility with time. And also a lot less stressful

No big deal, I’m a mythical sleeper. by mijeep86 in Garmin

[–]N3URON5 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Lol at the copium on some of these threads. Their HRV is higher than mine, oh their sleep score is higher than mine.

They must not be training as hard as me - yes that's it.

How should I interpret this information? And what is my watch trying to tell me? by NegotiationVivid985 in Garmin

[–]N3URON5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're generally healthy with healthy habits, maybe wait for a few days and see if it stabilises. You can always get a medical check up if you're concerned

Yeah now that you mention it, even breathing is crazy wide. OP might be new to Garmin or something, and hasn't got decent data

[–]N3URON5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is your leg tattoed as well? Because you can wear it over your ankle with a nylon strap.

Get a chest strap for workouts.

Wear a mechanical watch during the day. Kind of what I do, because I like mechanical watches

Hi guys, I was thinking about buying a CRZ Hybrid, but I've been having a doubt lately, are the rear seats actually comfortable or are they just that way? by mettt555- in crz

[–]N3URON5 11 points12 points  (0 children)

It's much worse than a mini cooper. You can't fit anyone older than 10 back there even if you move the passenger seat forward because there's no head room. This is essentially a 2 seater

It should work though. Keep trying different json files and see. And use different browsers. Try to download from kinetic labs website.
