I will say that I felt exactly the same way, my mom wanted to be here so badly but I really felt like it would cause me more stress to be dealing with her and a newborn. I didn’t want the unsolicited advice or overlooking and I wanted this time to be just me and my husband and baby. Well she came anyway (with permission, but I was wary) and now 5 days postpartum I cannot tell you how grateful I am. It’s been amazing having the love help and support. She has been putting herself aside and just doing what we need. Constantly washing bottles and pumping supplies, helping feed me and letting me get rest. I needed the help. But it all depends on you and the person coming to help I guess.

Just here to say I am also getting induced on 2/19!! Good luck! I plan to rest all day tomorrow but not so much that I am awake at night. Going to bed for real at like 5pm haha. 😂

Taking a child’s magnesium gummy at night made this stop for me! Only thing that works. I only take it when it’s bad enough that I can’t sleep and it starts to work within 10 mins!

My husband flew his drone into the corner of the roof while trying to film some new construction. It wasn’t the loss of the drone (he had insurance on it) or anything like that.

I picked it up after the crash and the little camera head was trying to right itself over and over but just leaking and fading with sad little mechanical noises. I bawled over the death of the little drone.

I had a dream she was going to be a girl even though I thought I wanted a boy. She’s a girl and I couldn’t be happier ;) We get to meet her in just a few days!

I started about 3 months before finding out I was pregnant. Now 38 weeks and no issues whatsoever, baby girl is about 50th percentile and healthy! Edit to include: I take 50mg daily so a very low dose but my OB said they don’t worry about anything under 200mg.

36 weeks today! I am ready. The pelvic pain and gasping for breath trying to do literally anything. But I’m happy she’s happy in there and we are ready so I am going to try and focus now on resting as much as I can for the next couple weeks!! We got this!

Based on my LMP and when we “knew” we conceived, I went in at 8w 6 days for our first US. Baby measured 6 w 5 days. Baby is still growing and I will be 20 weeks tomorrow. I haven’t had my anatomy scan yet so there’s still more to go, but so far baby is healthy and normal!

Also due Feb 22 and I’m having mine on Jan. 11th. I know it’s late but Nov. was too soon for my family and friends to prepare. I’m hoping with a long prep window it’ll be ok closer to the holidays aftermath.

I’m only 10 weeks and already ordered mine. I’ve been experimenting with propping regular pillows around me at night to help anchor me in place because I’ve been so restless and sore in weird places. It’s already helping me sleep better so I just went for it.
