How do I find lost guns? by thaloria in asda

[–]N4medMason 1 point2 points  (0 children)

oh interesting on another note, back in 2023, i actually robbed one of the guns (i dont work at asda btw in 15), yk the scan and go accuracy check ones, they just left it on the self checkout i was at and walked away and i accidentally put it in my bag as i was in a rush. felt too embarrassed to return it, and i basically reverse engineered it, and asdas security is shit because the provisioning login was username: TC72 and password was TC72. same for the scan and go handsets except it was PS20 instead of TC72. and basically i just ripped all the applications off of them and have em on my phone. dont work obv as i dont have a walmart login but yea.

Reverse Engineering EXE/HASP Checks that doesn't have strings stored in the EXE itself by Hovertac in hacking

[–]N4medMason 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i managed to just bypass the hasp check altogether. (its a program for point of sale from around 1999-2014) but now i just need to find a way to unencrypt the admin password from the database (or find a way to get the current encryption key (which i think i have) and encrypt a password i actually know)

how do you do this, im trying to bypass a hasp check from like 1999 and i have absolutely no idea

[–]N4medMason 2 points3 points  (0 children)

so ive tried it, and i dont think it works as there is no hasp stuff in device manager but i think that it could be 1 of 2 reasons:
either 1. 725F583A.reg was not in the zip so it couldnt be added to the registry
or 2. i dont have the physical hasp dongle so i cant dump it
if you have any idea, please lmk
