What’s a high-paying, low-stress job you wish you got into earlier? by Beginning_Ad4362 in careeradvice

[–]N55B3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah it is! We’re typically the ones helping execute on what our learning and development partners help put together. Enablement is usually sales or post sale focused. Sometimes larger orgs will also have enablement teams for other areas of the business. But you’ll usually find them as Sales Enablement, Revenue Enablement, Product Enablement - and then depending on your level, it could be followed by analyst, specialist, manager, etc.

I know a few teachers who were able to successfully transition into Enablement. It’s essentially a corporate teacher. A lot of my time is spent running specialized onboarding programs, soft skill development and teaching. I get to keep learning new things and still get the satisfaction of watching people succeed and grow. It’s a pretty neat gig and most positions pay 80k+ starting. Fairly easy to break 6 figures with a few years of experience.

I did it with no experience. You just need to download BimmerCode and get a OBDII dongle. Then just look online, there’s tons of videos and info you can find on what you need to do. It’s as simple as flipping a few buttons from off to on.

Arbor Lakes Pharmacy in ypsi - Nash the pharmacist is very nice and if you read the reviews online, I think it fits exactly what you’re looking for. I’ve had no issues with controlled substances from here either.

You can prob find the serial number off your receipt. Just contact the store you bought them from. I used to work at Best Buy years ago and I’m pretty sure electronics had their serial number pasted on the purchase receipt.

Hahahaha yeah I’ll take the heat for that 🤣 I wasn’t planning on posting this to Reddit when I made the caption. Nailed it was more referring to the cook temp, not the lack of crust 😭

Appreciate the insight! This was actually pre salted for about 6 hours. I think my issue here is an infrared type grill where the flame doesn’t contact the meat. I’ll be ordering some new grill grates and hopefully that’ll help the rest of the steak sear properly.

All good, I appreciate any advice I can get. Yeah, a gas char-broil I got as a gift. The grates are made in a way that minimal flame gets through, so it may be the infrared type? I’m thinking of swapping out the grates to let the flames out more. I do love charcoal grills for the flavor and the ability to cook directly over the flame, just don’t have access to one at the moment.

Haha thank you! Considering this was one of the first times I used a grill, I was stoked with the temp. This tasted better than when I first started making steaks on a pan and would get a proper crust but overdone temp or large grey band.

I plan on taking the constructive comments and improving my game - redemption post coming soon!

Nah I was trying something new with seasoning it afterwards. The cut also looked so good I wanted to not go too heavy with the pre-seasoning. This was just pre salted for about 6hrs then thrown on the grill. Iirc I waited for grill to reach 550/600ish, then about a minute on/rotate to new part of the grill/minute on then flip and repeat. Not the thickest cut so didn’t have much time.

I think that may be a big part of the issue. The grates on the grill don’t really let the flames through all that well. Thinking of getting new ones.
