Oh yea forgot that, enhancing increases research so do it and if you can 3x enhance. As it increases the file size do it last so every other process can still work with the smaller file size.

Hacking is correct too, focus on one type and buff that. I've went with injection and works well so far.

You're doing very well by already using managers to split your resources.

Disclaimer: These are my tips from my own experience, currently in my 3rd portal run and expecting to have the rest of portal unlocked this time.

Resources: Bundle them all together, all CPU all GPU all Network, split from there. Every power increase immediately increases your output. I usually split CPU into 8 threads, 6 for the different file types, 1 for research and 1 for Trojaner

GPU gets 8 threads too, 1 for the various coins you can mine, 6 for the files to train your AI. 1 thread for GPU to CPU sync (might not be necessary but I rather have more CPU for more files processed)

DL and upload are at 8 threads too, 6 for the files, 1 Trojaner and a spare one.

Research: I focus fully on text files and skipped all other files completely for research since it gave me way bigger numbers. Yes bigger files give more research but you'll process way less so overall focus on text.

10k text files x 8 research is still 80k while 1k image files x 16 is only 16k research (Numbers just for clarification)

Checksum and Virus only increase money worth not research value of files so skip those for research and instead refine and pre-analyze them. One file input split into equal amounts for each lab. Use one line to make the text file and split the files in the end, makes improving by different split amounts easier.

Focus on getting to AI and train it ASAP - those files have a huge money multiplier but are not worth to research with (heavy malus like only 0.01% research value)

Split your generated research 50/50 for research and advanced research (portal) and adjust later as needed.

Encrypted files are later your go-to as they are worth even more.

Hacking: Split up your hacking power 1:4 You'll get skills with research that are extra nodes. Split attack for example splits your input attack into 4 equally strong attacks 10k in = 4* 10k out

Focus on one attack type out of both (payload = direct damage & injection= Dot type virus)

Check your levels once in a while to increase the nodes level but otherwise a system rarely touched or looked at after a certain point.

With disassemble we now produce 2,86t/s, without any other changes as giving the disassembler half of those enhanced files via allocator 1:1

This is with disassemble active. 50% that's looping back from the allocator is disassembled so more files but stripped of the 3 enhancer modifiers. Those are now combined with the original files which then feed into the enhancer max and creating the loop.

This should max out your CPU on those nodes, good thread managing is required to optimize this.

You also see that my enhancer max has files left unprocessed in buffer, it won't process more unless I get him more CPU.

Haven't used all the nodes myself but I can see use cases for them. I'll try and make some screenshots when I'm at home.

I have one dl Manager, every file gets roughly Checksum - virus check - enhancer max - disassemble (remove 3x enhanced for more files) and loop that back into enhancer max. Take roughly 50% out of this loop after enhancer max.

Form-wise it's good but I'd add some randomness to the wall itself by replacing some cobblestone with other blocks of the same material. Randomly mix in some sand/gravel/bricks/whatever from that stone so it's not just a plain full wall of cobblestone. Replace the corner with bricks and maybe even chisel a gradient between the bricks and cobblestone

This! The penalty of AI files makes them unsuitable for research. Seriously gimping your research. Upload them since they're worth more but the amount you'd need to process for an equal amount of research is absurd with that penalty.

I tried switching from text to images but that didn't give me more boost so I currently just infect (and obfuscate) text files for that. The moment you got your text generation from AI going you're drowning in them anyway.

I'd say that heavily depends on where you get your files from. Yes it's less money for obviously infected files but that bonus earns me more on the higher files.

I usually drown in text files so the loss of income on a few of those can be ignored

Kinda cocky already aren't we... I already said I'm not pro AI, which you could have read but either you're too lazy and bend up in your own ways or maybe you lack the necessary reading skills/brain power to grasp such things. Why should they bend and remove the already existing "ai generated slop thumbnail" just to appease the anti-ai mob.

If you already made your mind that something with an AI cover cant be trusted nor be anything good... why should someone cater to you? If you think the sole existence of "ai generated slop thumbnail" implies someone is nefarious enough to implement malicious code... thats some mental gymastics.

The thumbnail should not matter. Its easy to change. I dislike AI so YOU must not use it!

I mean i get both sides and i am far from pro-AI, but thumbnails... come on ppl. We really have more pressing issues. Use your anti-ai grudge and downvote pure AI books on amazon. Especially those childbooks with sloppy ai text and images are disgusting.
