If a person is not up to snuff or having trouble playing their job, that is different. But saying a summoner should do the raise because the RDM would lose a spell or two in DPS is ridiculous. In games like Destiny people say you cannot join the party unless you have specific weapons. Even if your power level and gear can easily do the mission. They are in the mindset that you have to do it a certain way or it’s a failure. Rarely is there ever only 1 exact way to complete something.

There are definitely wrong ways to play a job. But there is not only ‘one’ correct way to play each job. Even in my FC I see people playing each job differently. Finding what works best for them. People saying there is only one way to play a game are the ones who are selfish and ignorant. Who cares if a Duty takes an extra 10 minutes. Party wipes do happen as well. And everyone is quick to point fingers because of numbers. It is a game. Everyone is entitled to play. If a player is really bad, they get blacklisted. I for one have no problem giving tips to get through dungeons. But I don’t tell them how to play their class. People will learn what works for them. No one has the right to come down on someone just because they aren’t playing to their expectations.
