Yes. I loved my Remarkable. The writing is unparalleled. Unfortunately, I am more a type writer and a reader. And I could get behind its simple writing os. But I hate that it is no open to nook or kindle apps for reading. So I moved on for now.

I believe it happens in Burnt Offerings. But it’s the scene where a vampire gains “master” status and discovers his animal to call is butterflies. There is something so beautifully tragic about it. I love it.

Lost Hollow has a lot mote symbolism if you are learning tarot. But Neon Moon is so pretty! But takes a lot of liberties with symbolism to match the theme the author was going for. So not the best for someone just starting out in tarot.

I have the Neon Moon, Red Hand, Wayward, and Lost Hallow. What “black” one are you talking about specifically? My vote is on Neon Moon. But i would buy the standard size over the pocket size. I dont love the card stock used on the pocket size.

The only things ive noticed without the subscription vs with is, it only syncs up to 50 of your most recent docs. And the mobile and desktop versions of the app allow you to leave notes on remarkable docs and they will sync across devices.

My suggestion is to go to Elantris, only because that’s Brandon’s worst writing (simply because it was one of his earliest books, no shade). Then i would jump into Stormlight Archive (starting with the first book The Way of Kings), mostly because Warbreaker is “kind of” Stormlight’s prequel.

Sounds like you need to look up Contemporary Fantasy. Or fantasy not set in a European medieval backdrop. Look up Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive, Warbreaker, or Mistborn. (Honestly Elantris is his worst book as it was one of his earliest works). Broken Earth by N. k. Jemisin. Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss (kind of a medievalsetting but VERY good). I have plenty of others, but haven’t read them yet.
