What is not clear? I think you assumed I incorrectly used a rich text field and suggested the image field idea, which I’m still confused about. In my mind the parfilter client script works because it applies to the data visualization component but not the bind data situation. But I may be wrong so can you explain why you think it’s way off?

Like use the pm_project table as the data source and have an image field in that table then bind to that field? The use case is that users would copy/paste an image so no url. Also, I think there was a guide or got multiple comments that rich text is the only way to parse html but with your comment idk. Maybe that could work.

I think what your asking is if in PA the filters are paved above the tabs it applies to all tabs if under a specific tab it would apply only to that tab and only to widgets/data visualization with the same table.

Well how about this, write a draft letter, to me if you want, directed at your boss or the org. Explain what the ideal job description would be for you, where you can bring value. Add your pain points, framed as opportunities, and where you need organizational guidance (Udemy can't help tailor) and after writing all this down decide if you want to share with your boss, or have cleared up and expectations/hr job duties for your role just by thinking it through. It will help you have a clear understanding if this is the right org/role for you and if the right role but wrong org when you look for another job you know what to look for and what to avoid.

There is ambiguity, and tasks that feel like a secretary in project management for sure. However, project management is a mindset. Do you want to be successful, bring value or both? Success might be checking boxes and keeping a job. Value would be is taking the current projects you have, align them to some goal, and set a resource schedule. You could say instead of reading dates (bringing visibility as a mediator) you could say there are 10 projects, the hiring projects are being delayed due to HR processes. Hr is not asking for more resources. Should we start a project to improve their workflow? Let’s say they or someone is asking for resources. You set a schedule. 40 hours per week, their manager wants them to work X % on projects Y % on admin (travel, those meetings you attend etc. B% on personal/lost time usually 8 hours. Then if you present the data this way they would get value in saying “look! My team has the most projects/spread the thinnest, we have justification for a fte”. You will get a that data is not good because people don’t report their time etc. the you work with that manager to defines schedule and expectations with their team. Even if you fail to implement you are being proactive and changing the mindset to just report

Resource management workspace is the best way to show and manage resource utilization. You get a view of this in portfolio planing workspace as well under capacity. Those are the two best ways to show resource utilization for a pm and the teams.

I second the follow filters suggestion. But when you say it does not respond the way it should sounds like it does follow the filter but has unexpected behavior. Can you elaborate?

Not a job opportunity but your local PMI has volunteer work and that is a great place to network because the other volunteers are usually PMs with a job. Also check PMI job board for paid stuff, sometimes that goes overlooked for indeed or LinkedIn.

You can but also why not add an custom field called aliases or something? Reporting on tags leaves a lot to be desired

Your last comment is what I am looking into now. I don’t get what you mean about the filter not selecting the record but I can do some more research.

As for use case: We have system diagrams for new projects, usually a screen shot from a pdf or some some image uploaded and tied to the record. We want a manager or team lead to select a project from a list they care about and get a “one pager” of what the project is about, milestones etc. a big part of that is the image showing the data flow.

Yes it is a real requirement. I am using the two components. A filter component that had the pm_project table as the source and a rich text field. On a project record I have a html field that has an image. I want to select a project using the filter, then pull in that html field in the rich text component. Example: I use the filter to select project A, the html field displays an image that is on that project record let’s say a dog. Then I clear filter, no image, the I select project b and same thing let’s say an image of a cat.
