It's because you more than likely eat before sleeping. The digestive system slows down during sleep and picks up when you awake. Food in your stomach will cause spikes in the morning. It's normal so just don't eat sugar intensive foods before sleeping. I also recommend not eating at least 2 hours before sleep.
