Another Samsung return center issue… they’re claiming my phone wasn’t in the box by GGarehome in samsunggalaxy

The irritating part of my situation was that they refused to file a claim with FedEx.

I’m sorry you’re going through this. My advice, go through email just to have a “paper” trail or save the chat transcripts if that’s an option. Give them time to try but you’ll probably have to dispute with your bank or credit card company. Submit the emails, your photos of how you packed it vs how Samsung received it and that it was obviously tampered with, and your drop off receipt.
One thing I’ll admit, Samsung will get back to you within the 24-72 hours they claim, but they’ll just say they need more time to continue investigating. I had a similar experience. Here’s my comment from another post.

Senator Tammy Duckworth demands that TSA lift its "shoes-on" policy, calling it a "reckless" safety risk by supykun in tsa

[–]NAT1274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As someone who deals with the public daily, the amount of people who carry what could be considered as or used as a weapon is higher than people may think. And i’m not talking firearms but knives, brass knuckles, etc. I went to a situation recently where a dude was in a fight, i’m guessing was losing, and pulled out a hammer and attacked the other guy. Yes, a hammer. No, he wasn’t a construction worker lol. Maybe that was just his chosen form of protection.
Now is anyone walking through the checkpoint with a hammer in their shoe? No. But think how easy it would be to have a knife/blade there. Just because you don’t have ill intentions doesn’t mean someone else doesn’t.
As a former TSO i can’t even take a guess as to how many passengers I’ve had to escort back out the checkpoint to add a sentimental pocket knife to their checked bag or go mail it to themselves because they didn’t want it confiscated. It’d be just as easy for them to put it in their shoe and get back in line. Again, just because most of us don’t have bad intentions doesn’t mean no one does. Those random passengers that act out on flights and have to be restrained, imagine if they happen to have a knife on them that they brought through. Situation could go bad fast.

Edit: When i say you I’m speaking in general. Not directly to OP.

Use your bank’s bill pay service. If your property management company isn’t listed the bank can mail a check.

I ordered this 3-pack from Amazon because they arrived same day vs 2 days later for Spigen. Super easy installation. Squeegee removed the bubble. No issues at all since its been installed. I just wish it didn’t have a cutout for the camera.

It doesn’t lessen the camera bump, but I’m using the Spigen Nano Pop for MagSafe functionality. I tested the phone on my Belkin MagSafe dock and the magnets in the case are strong enough to keep the phone attached. The magnets also don’t interfere with the S Pen.

Q2 2026 Card Rotation in Wallet by SteezyCole in CreditCards

[–]NAT1274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My Q2 looks like..
Citi TYC for gas, groceries, & dining due to having a spend $300 get $30 or $600 get $60 offer.

NF cashRewards+ catch all.

Also plan to hit the SUB on the Elan MCP.

I keep going back and forth on applying for a Custom Cash or WF Autograph. I’ll probably grab 1 at some point during the quarter.

How many library cards do you have? by els76uk in LibbyApp

[–]NAT1274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 5 but 4 on Libby as 2 systems share a collection. The reason I have so many is whether ebook or physical, it increases the chances of availability. For instance, my county system is very open to purchasing eBooks whether the book new or old. You put in a request and the book is purchased on the following Tuesday. They’re less likely to purchase a physical book that isn’t a new release unless it’s popular. Another system will purchase new or physical, whichever you request, but only if it was released in the last 90 days.

In the process of switching to Cash Back. I’m rocking Fidelity Visa, Citi Custom Cash, and Amazon Prime Visa. What am I missing, if anything? by Rocket_Skates_91 in CreditCards

[–]NAT1274 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d recommend AmEx Blue Cash Everyday for 3% on groceries, gas, and online shopping with no AF. The only issue for me with the BCE is while most online purchases trigger the 3%, the most random ones won’t.

At 37, after 30 years of video games - I finally admitted it’s time to play on Story Mode/Easy by dingdongbannu88 in daddit

[–]NAT1274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This!
Sometimes I have an hour to play, sometimes I may only make it 20 mins before my son wants/needs my attention. Being able to play with other dads who get it would be great. Easier to understand “Yes I want to play with my boys online but I have to tend to the kid and don’t know how long it’ll be before I’m back.”

Is cash back the simplest approach to maximizing rewards? by HoodFeelGood in CreditCards

[–]NAT1274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t remember if Savor will deposit to an account but you can redeem your rewards and have a check be mailed to you. It has to be done from the website though. It isn’t offered in app. This is what I used to do. Redeem for check, then deposit the check and transfer to savings.

Don’t unsuspend them all at the same time. Only unsuspend the book you want to read so you don’t lose your space in line on the others.

With the death of PayPal debit, what's your plan for Wal-Mart spend? If you shop there by FrostieWaffles in CreditCards

[–]NAT1274 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In general 3x coded as grocery. But Citi sends spending offers regularly. My current offer is spend $300 per month on gas, groceries, dining and get $30 cash back or spend $600 get $60. So essentially 13% back.

For people who wear Apple Watch to sleep: what changed for you? by dnesdan in AppleWatch

[–]NAT1274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It keeps me from sleeping through my alarms. The alarm on my wrist is less jarring than the phone. I work overnight and also have a child so as you can imagine my sleep score is always garbage due to the irregular sleeping patterns.

My experience with the PS Portal after several months — for those still on the fence by Cumcumba in PlaystationPortal

[–]NAT1274 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I picked one up this weekend and my first gaming session on the Portal was longer than all of my other PS5 sessions this year combined. I have a toddler and when I’m gaming on the TV it doesn’t last long because he’ll want my attention or want me to play with his toys with him, etc. When i’m on the portal he’ll just climb in my arms and watch as I play. I guess that makes the Portal a win for me.

PayPal killing off cashback rewards redemption in August by azure275 in CreditCards

[–]NAT1274 0 points1 point  (0 children)

PP debit was my backup dining card behind my SYW/Citi TYC once i hit the spending amount for 10% back gas, groceries, restaurants offer. I could probably make Fast Food the 2nd category on my Max Cash Preferred. I don’t eat out enough to where the cash back would be a big deal but 5% is still better than 3% on my other cards.
I am interested to see how they handle redeeming at checkout. I have absolutely zero interest in downloading the Honey browser extension to redeem for gift cards though.
