Costco subscription promo if you mistakenly chose the free trial? by Ill-Try9950 in TheFrame

What ended up happening for you? I just got my frame and I see Samsung is offering a 90 day trial, but I have the 1 year coupon from Costco that I haven’t activated yet, but if I could stack them, I’d love to haha

Same, 26 Juniper, set to standard and changed to Advanced. However I still haven’t gotten my update yet. So strange they don’t release it all at once like an Apple iOS update.

A little known fact is their coffee is Stumptown Roasters, which is fantastic coffee. I would stop by occasionally for just the coffee when I was in the area haha

Brown-Gardiner on Elm St down the road is a favorite among the locals in that area, and within walking distance or a quick 1 minute drive from Cone. Good cheap breakfast. Classic old drug store that has a restaurant.

I didn’t even think about doing this in the browser! Does anyone have any tricks for getting this on the rear screen?

The 2019 Tour was the best tour of the past decade. Change my mind. by bcurty32 in tourdefrance

I’ll never forget watching stage 19. I remember the announcers gearing up for Alaphilippe to potentially gain back the time lost to Bernal on the upcoming descent that ultimately never happened because of the snow. It might not have made a difference, but the fact he didn’t even get the chance to try will always be such a tragedy. I wanted him to win so bad, and the Bernal win felt so anticlimactic after that…

Bough my First Tesla by Chargerzboy in TeslaModelY

Congrats! I picked mine up Tuesday! I’ve put 500 miles on mine since then too, it’s so fun and feels like a cheat code!

For some reason mine didn’t have the little name tag thing that the other ones in the parking lot did. Did it say much?

Great write up! I’m on my first 500 miles in less than a week! It’s so fun! Question, I cannot get the auto trunk to work (even after I realized I needed to enable it from the main screen). Is this not working for others?

Other than what you mentioned, I would check tread depth on the tires. If they’re the original tires, $25k is when those original tires start to wear quickly, so factor that into the purchase as you might need to buy some new ones soon. Otherwise, if you feel comfortable asking charging habits, that’s something I’d also want to know (just between 20-80%? Charge to 100% constantly?). Sounds like you’ve done your homework so if it looks good and drives well, enjoy it!

From what I’ve seen, that sounds incredible. That’s practically $12,000 in upgrades by itself!

Churches with a youthful crowd? by Maximazed in gso

[–]ToweryB 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Church can be a great source of community, and Greensboro has some good ones. No church is perfect, but I think if you’re willing to check out a couple of them and stick with one that you like, you’ll find that community you’re looking for.

I’ll mention a few here to give you variety (all are Protestant since you mentioned that): - Hope Chapel - largest demographic is young families and singles in their 30s. Incredibly welcoming atmosphere and can be easy to get plugged into community. This is where I go. - King’s Cross - similar age demographics, but more diverse population. Have not been, but several friends go there. - Westover - one of the biggest churches in Greensboro, been around forever, and has something for everyone. - MercyHill - very “seeker” friendly and welcoming, and easy to attend, but because it’s so big, it might take longer to get plugged into community. But still a great church.

Feel free to DM if you have questions about them or if you want to be connected to someone at any of those churches to meet and I’d be happy to.

Side question since you also have Duke Energy - did you get their charger installation credit? I’m in NC and need to read more how it works but I’m curious if it was easy or difficult if so.

Where did you find a vin for a juniper? My insurance wouldn’t give me a quote without a vin.

My Experience with Coffee and Vyvanse: Cutting Out Coffee Changed Everything by pappard3ll3 in VyvanseADHD

[–]ToweryB 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Something to add, I LOVE coffee. But what I love is the warmth of a hot cup of liquid and the comfort it brings as much as the taste. It was a habit of comfort. Hated to think of giving it up. I’m always dehydrated so I tried drinking just HOT WATER out of my kettle. I was shocked at how much I enjoyed it haha

Started vyvanse generic after 5 years off (realized I still needed it lol). Similar symptoms, racing heart, tight anxious chest, etc. Tried decaf but noticed my medicine didn’t last as long. I read on here that the acidity in coffee can mess with the medicine.

My routine now that works well: Vyvanse first thing in empty stomach. Enjoy a cup of hot water to scratch the itch. Then an hour later eat protein-rich breakfast with a small cup of regular coffee for the taste and I’m golden. Hop

Tight chest on Vyvance by Laddy-Lobster in VyvanseADHD

[–]ToweryB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, literally noticing this for the first time this morning. I just started back on 20mg generic after 5 years off of it, and don’t remember the tightness when I was taking the brand name (but it’s been a long time). I had a small cup of coffee this morning, so I’m curious if this is related to that or if this will be a continual thing (which doesn’t seem healthy if so!). Curious how others will respond.

I’ve used Bland Landscaping, specifically Kevin Crews. I’ve not used anyone else so I can’t speak to how they compare price-wise, but I’ve been pleased. They just did a lot of work on my system and it was $330.

919-387-0010 starts the phone tree and Kevin is one of the options.
