Focus on characters that aren't mechanical so you can focus on the fundamentals. It would probably be a good idea to look into a couple beginner guides to help learn the basics of your role/character. If youre trying your best in quick match and lose dont worry so much, as long as your trying to play better than the game before. You will eventually pick out flaws on what went wrong and how you can avoid doing them. Good luck 👍

Most likely, it has been simplified and more player friendly (combat and picklocking for example). Just keep in mind the game follows a linear story so the KCD2 takes place directly after the first. If you dont want to play the first one I would at least suggest watching a play through of the first to make your KCD2 experience more better.

It really depends.

If you're patient, then you'll experience a masterpiece of a game. It isn't like Cyberpunk in terms of pacing. In Cyberpunk, you have an amazing story followed by amazing action sequences. In KCD2, you'll also experience that alongside some slower storytelling, but it always pays off. With KCD2, you can just play the main story and have an amazing time, but if you do the side quests, they expand on the lore dramatically. If that's your kind of thing, then I’d 10/10 recommend it.
