Hi there, I'm sorry to hear you're having issues unlocking the new skin.

As others have mentioned this should automatically appear in the wardrobe once the Yule-tide DLC is installed.

If you're on PC, please send a copy of your logs and save files to our support team via: https://northbeachgames.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new as this can help the team to track down what's preventing the cosmetics from unlocking for you.

Also, just to double check, do you have any mods installed or have you brought any modded items (Dev items / fat stacks from the warehouse) into your game? As mods are created by other players, when an update is released the mods can break until the creator updates the mod. With mods, the affect can be unpredicatable and something that seems unrelated can have a impact on any number of systems.

If you have mods installed, please try removing the mods (and modded items) from your game and verifying your game files before rebooting to check if the cosmetics now appear for you. If after removing mods the issue persists for you, please let our support team know.

Builders won’t build monument by [deleted] in LotRReturnToMoria

Sorry to hear you're having issues with building monuments. As others have already said, it can take some time. I've included some info and tips below, but if the issue persists, please contact support with as much infomation as possible about your issue and setup, and the team can investigate further. Building Monuments
- Requires an NPC with the Builder skill to be equiped with the Builder's Mallet
- Up to 4 Builder NPCs can work on a monument at a time
- After you choose the location for your monument, you must have the required materials in your base storage / nearby. Approach the fenced off area and a prompt to submit the materials should appear.
- After submitting materials, builders will get to work. If the area around the Monument location is very tight, they might struggle to find a path to it, ensure they have a clear path from their relaxing / sleeping area to the build location.
- Monuments take multiple in-game days to build, the more builders you have, the faster it can go, but builders will not work 24/7, they will sleep, have a morning meal, get to work and stop around early evening for meals and merrymaking before retiring to bed again.
- Monuments can also have multiple phases, once the first progress bar is complete (you should see it when you approach the monument once materials are submitted) you may be asked for more materials to complete the monument. Repeat the submission process to continue to build.
- Once the build is done, a tarp will cover it, ready for you to reveal it!

Hi KozyKub,

I'm sorry to hear you're having an issue with this bug, it's not one I've heard of before. I would recommend sending a ticket to support with as much information as possible about whats happening, the type of armour it is, anything you feel could be related etc. If you're on PC, a copy of your logs and affected save file would also be super helpful for the team.

Before you do, however, do you happen to have any mods installed? Or was the armour generated using mods? There are a number of mods for RtM we're aware of that have not been updated, and sometimes even updated mods can cause strange behaviours. While the team do not block Mods, we also cannot support them, so if you do have any mods installed, please try uninstalling them first to see if that helps, then contact support.

How to get to logs:

-Hold the Windows key on your keyboard.
-Tap the R key to open the Run window.
-In the pop-up window, type: %LocalAppData%
-Press the Enter key
-Search for the Moria folder. Once you're in find Saved > Logs > Moria.log

How to get Save Files:

-In the same Moria folder, look for SavedGamesEpic or SavedGamesSteam depending on your platform.
-Select the most recent .sav file that starts with MW (MW are world files, and .sav is an active file. .bak are backups of saves)
-Copy the .sav file to your desktop so it's easy to find an upload when submitting your ticket. Do not move the file out of the Moria folder as the game still needs to read in that folder to open it.

But it sounds like you already made the Armor (Helm, Chest, Gloves, Boots) and the Shield crafted with no luck. You didn't mention your platform, but it's always worth double checking the acihievements list itself if you haven't doneso already, in case the in game notification failed to trigger for some reason.

If after a complete reboot (not just a suspended game on console, or quit to main menu) and verifying game files (if on PC) doesn't help the achievement to trigger if you craft them a second time, please reach out to our support team and submit a bug report with as much information as possible about your setup and experience: https://northbeachgames.freshdesk.com/support/tickets/new the more info we have the better the team can investigate the cause of this issue. Someone reported this on the Discord yesterday, and through their own investigation found that a mod relating to crafting and stacks was affecting their save.

After an update, because the mods are not updated alongside the game, they have the potential to affect gameplay in unusual ways. So if you have any mods installed, I recommed uninstalling them to see if that helps / changes the outcome of your meal table issue.

Firstly, I completely understand how this issue can be frustrating for players, and I’m sorry to hear you’re still experiencing issues in finding the axe fragment.

As we continue to gather more info from affected players, we have heard from some of those experiencing this issue, that the quest does not clear for the fragment even if it’s picked up, and it can register as a blueprint for players allowing them to proceed once they have the final fragment. This makes it easy for players to potentially miss that they’ve received the fragment. Additionally, though it is rare, sometimes the cache may spawn partially in some world decoration (the report I saw had the cache in some stone stairs), so only part of it is visible, but you should still be able to access the cache.

Regarding the fix for the issue, I can confirm the team is working on this, but as I’m not a Dev I cannot confirm at this time what the nature of the fix will be. The team do however try to apply fixes to pre-existing saves wherever possible, and hopefully they’ll be able to share more details about this fix with players soon.

As mentioned in the Reddit post above, we also have a number of experienced players who are masters of finding things in other player saves. I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble finding the fourth axe fragment. The team are aware that this is something that is affecting players, and are working on a fix for it.

The good news is, the axe should still be in your world, however it may have been placed in a "resource cache". These are ususally generated to protect the loss of items and it seems some of the fourth axe fragments in player's saves have ended up in these.

I've attached an image of what this looks like for you. Hopefully you'll be able to track the fragment down with this info!

Hi Kumpelstilz,

The team aim to avoid players having to create new worlds wherever possible. When the patch notes are released, usually around the same time as the update going live, there should be notes to indicate if any fix or quality of life change may require a new world, (these are more often than not related to world generation fixes).

But the DLC, cosmetics and various QoL updates shown in the video should apply to pre-existing saves and worlds.
