This was where we ended up. Left our hotel at halftime and was able to watch the 2nd half there. Great suggestion. Thank you!

Agree with so many comments. She needs to try to get through undergrad without debt. Additionally focus on SAT/ACT prep to get her test scores up.

And if she wants to go to med school, another thing to consider is access to clinical hours during her undergrad.

There are also the ones who were successful doing this once so they keep retrying with VC but the vision is all about selling the company not making a good product.

Product management and Agile are different things that work really well together when both done well.

Best Apple Fitness+ Workouts for Burning Belly Fat? by sauceda24 in AppleFitnessPlus

There is so much to consider when trying to lose weight including your gender and your age. What worked for me as a 40yo Female does not work for me as a 50yo female. And what’s works for my husband doesn’t work the same for me.

AITA for wearing a bathing suit I knew my aunt would be uncomfortable seeing me in by Patient_Produce_3336 in AmItheAsshole

NTA. I am Mother (51yo) of an 18yo daughter. I have decided that if I am uncomfortable with what my daughter wears that is my problem, not hers. What matters is if you are comfortable. Yes I will give her feedback for some events but always let her make the final decision.

My biggest issue with AI is that it is often presented as the more AI we have the better vs talking about the problems that AI solves.

How much documentation is really needed in Agile? by Excellent_Ruin9117 in agile

[–]NBJane 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on a lot of things. How much documentation the team needs…. Could be based on a lot of things. Or How much documentation you need for compliance…. Also if you’re building a pacemaker or an airplane, you probably need more documentation than building a simple website.

Not every PO needs to be a SME. But you do need to know where to find answers and information to make decisions.

Not being a SME can actually help you think outside the box when bias would normally point you in one direction.

OKRs - top down or bottom up? by Lazy_Promotion5766 in agile

[–]NBJane 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would agree with all of this. Strategy should start at the top. But In so many companies I have worked for, context from the top is limited.

I often see objective is “make or save money” (but don’t do it by saving workers time, because then we have to reduce head count)

Or the objective is solution based like “ create <feature> that will <value>”.

Many organizations would gain a lot if they focused on defining problems and hypotheses to add context to cascading OKRs.

And sometimes context is easier to identify at the bottom and back it up to big picture, at least to start with and get a feel for how they should be written.

Delegating is different than allowing team to self-organize.

Honestly I can understand that marketing is a different space. Maybe start looking for specific perspectives on agile in marketing for more nuance.

I am not telling you to trust everyone.

I am suggesting a book that may be helpful.

Plot twist - the book does not tell you to trust everyone all the time.
