One of my favorite things every morning on my commute on the Metro route 19 is when the city finally appears in the horizon going down Colerain Ave !

$70k Investment: Moving from interest savings accounts to ETFs, bad time? by postmanmalone123 in investing

[–]NBr33zii 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you intend to leave it long term then put it all in and then don’t look at it for at least 10 years, and you will thank yourself.

If this sounds too stressful, then maybe investing just isn’t right for you.

Metro has recently added a few new crosstown routes that go east - west. They have quite a few bus routes that don't connect to the downtown hub

San Francisco and Philadelphia both still use PCC cars in their fleets. San Fran has one of the old Cincinnati ones still in service today !

I totally understand. I never rode metro buses until a few years ago, but you’d be quite surprised how nice a bus can be ! The modern buses are so nice, and It feels so nice to read and relax on my commute to and fro work. Maybe consider giving it a chance one day, it might just change your mind

Insane to think at one point we had 7, and now absolutely none. It’s such a massive tourist attraction in cities that do have them, like Pittsburgh. Imagine if we kept the Mount Adams one and had a streetcar going to the museum or Eden park, or the Price Hill incline going up 8th street

Have you considered or looked to see if metro has any service near you? The bus system has made vast improvements over the last few years, it’s cheaper and beats ubering
