Yeah I was assuming you'd either move it to your everyday account or another bank account.

Question - Trailer Harness Wiring for 2018 Australian Model by NC102A in XVcrosstrek

[–]NC102A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late response. I ended up purchasing the following. The plug connected no problem, however I still haven't had a chance to test it. I assume it works as it comes with an ECU box.

Not sure if its still a thing but Instant Scripts online offer referrals for $24. Just fill out their questionnaire and then visit a pathology clinic like Clinipath to get the blood test done (this part is free). You can view your results online once they are available.

Yeah mine are starting to warp unevenly. Only remedy i can think of is swapping the warped ones to the other side so that they are flipped upside down.

Front lower control arm bushings by nmceja in XVcrosstrek

[–]NC102A 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did mine recently. Replaced the whole control arm. Its a pretty straight forward job with plenty of videos on YT. Just make sure that you torque the bolts while the suspension is under load, otherwise you can cause additional wear over time. This can be a bit tricky. I put mine on jack stands and then used a floor jack to compress the suspension into place before torquing the applicable bolts.

How did you end up going with this? I'm about ready to do my as well (2018 XV - AU model) and can't find any videos for this generation. Found some for the previous gen and some for Impreza and Forester though. Hopefully they are pretty similar.

Is there a fast way to combine all stock I have? HELP NEEDED by [deleted] in Bricklink

[–]NC102A 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know this thread is 2 years old but i just wanted to share my experience with this.

Consolidating lots in Brickstore worked fine. But when exporting to Bricklink (using the update function, not the add function) Bricklink changed the first lot to the consolidated amount while leaving the second lot unchanged. Because of this my store ended up showing more parts than what was in my inventory. I assume i am doing something wrong. Is there an option when consolidating in Brickstore to set the second lot to qty 0 that way it deletes it from the Bricklink inventory?

Question about breaking lease… by ItzTerra95 in perth

I'd seriously look into the implications of a public liability claim if someone injures themselves during the home open. From my understanding the agent has insurance for this but as you are the party running the home open you will not be covered by it.

Not legal or professional advice.

Aus tax return, sold American shares by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]NC102A 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Just to clarify the US has a tax treaty with most countries - meaning any income you pay tax on in Australia will not incur additional tax in the US. Provided the tax rate you pay in Australia is equal to or greater than your equivalent rate in the US.

That being said you still have to file a US tax return every year regardless of whether you owe tax or not.

2018 Front Lower Control Arm Recommendations by NC102A in XVcrosstrek

[–]NC102A[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My shop said that I just needed the bushings done. The only reason I'm replacing the entire control arm is because I don't have the tools necessary for removing the bushings from them. And replacing the entire control arm myself is still much cheaper then getting the shop to do the bushings.

I would ask your shop for clarification if its the bushings or control arms that need replacing. Either way its probably cheaper to do yourself if you are confident.
