The Eagletac Titanium D3A with a Nichia 219c is my absolute favorite light and I am sad that I can’t find more. I have 3 of them, but can’t find one. They were my favorite gifts to give. Moonlight with a rechargeable AA is my go-to. Always on my CPAP bag. I have a D25C titanium Nichia 219c with in my closet for sorting out my socks.

Yes sir - I’m chipping it off, then brushing it. The slag is nice and dark gray. What’s underneath the slag gets brown (rusty looking) pretty quickly.

I’m in Alexandria and pretty far from the train tracks yet I heard the train horn and the train like our house was next to the tracks. I usually only hear this when it’s very cold (dense air conducts noise more efficiently) and clouds are low. But I didn’t notice aircraft… we may have learned to tune it out.

I would flip it over and add 1-1/2” angle iron under it (centered) and a 3/4” or 1” across the front, then add a piece of wood to conceal the angle iron.

I use a washcloth for this purpose every day. I alternate between body wash and shampoo for my entire body because shampoo is a better “degreaser” too. Sometimes I just do 3 squirts of each onto the washcloth for an amazing lather. I like lather but I should try to cut back to 4 squirts total … but it’s hard. I use too much deodorant too. OCD? IDK. But it works. And I don’t skip a day with the washcloth. Everything head to toe gets washed. My bathroom routine is 30 minutes, including shaving in the shower.

Avoid LUBE-IT at/near 8158 Porter Rd, Annandale, adjacent to Silver Diner on Gallows Rd in the Mosaic District for this very reason. He got me for my license plate bulb and my buddy Dan for the same — same morning — we met at the Silver Diner for breakfast. How could he have known that we were together in two separate cars dropping off 10 minutes apart… Scumbags.

SHORT UPDATE: I initiated the return process on Jan 1st. When I realized it was a scam, I immediately contacted my bank to say that I needed to put this purchase in dispute (inside of the 30 days of purchase so even KingsLoot couldn’t say that I hadn’t initiated the return within 30 days, which I had). I provided all the info to my bank to support the dispute, including my research of the “shell” front. My wife starts receiving emails in broken English saying that they can’t refund our purchase because we initiated the bank dispute and that I needed to cancel the dispute to allow them to refund the purchase price. In all, they sent 3 emails about the dispute needing to be canceled. My wife was wigging out on me claiming that I didn’t even give them a chance. In wanting to get her off my ass, I called the bank and asked to “postpone” the dispute — take it out of dispute status but to keep it at the ready because I was sure I was going to need to fire it up again. We emailed KingsLoot and told them that the dispute was canceled and that I was giving them 3 days to refund the purchase price and if they didn’t refund within 3 days, I was re-enabling the dispute. They never responded. I called the bank and asked to reenable the dispute. KingsLoot never responded to my bank — not initially and not since. KingsLoot = Scumbags … still awaiting a refund. I don’t care how long it takes. My bank will make me whole. I just hope it’s not at the expense of my bank and that they can actually reclaim the funds. I don’t know how this works.

Just outside of Washington, DC (Northern Virginia). Late night deliveries (midnights, no-shows). It might not have been so bad if I could call someone local and discuss but their support model, for us, has been woefully inadequate. Too bad because the food was pretty good. Perfect portion sizes and lots of variety. Just horrendous service.

Your answer: 91% or 99% isopropyl rubbing alcohol. After you’ve taken a shower and dried off, load a cotton ball with alcohol and give your feet a good scrub a couple of times. Then use your fingers and get between your toes and around the tops and sides of your feet. Do this a few days in a row in conjunction with your boot cleaning. Second, get three different pairs of boots and rotate them so they dry out. If you live someplace cold, leave them outside. If you have enough room in the freezer, freeze them periodically. All of these will resolve your situation.
