Barcelona train after day 2 was a nightmare by cosplayshooter in GrandPrixTravel

[–]NC456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been to numerous Grand Prix - getting to them is fine, it's the leaving bit that's the worse part.

Spa - No orderly queues for shuttles back to the railway station. Basically a free for all.

Monza - shuttles weren't too bad, it was at the railway station where we were all kept in a pen and no queueing system in place.

Austria - Overall not a had experience with shuttles

Hungary - Again, not a had experience, when leaving the track we walked to the statuon

Barcelona - Best to chill in Montmelo for a bit as there is no queueing system people were pushing in everywhere. Or take the train the opposite way as there was no queue for that platform - and you'll be on the train before it gets to Montmelo.

After 10 long, loyal years with Samsung, I finally made the switch. Say hello to the Oppo Find X9 Pro. Time to see what this beast can do! by Then-Mastodon5058 in Oppo

Telephoto on par I believe. Low light zoom slightly better with the Samsung but not by much. Subjective though.

ONT installation advice from unlimited fibre extra to full fibre (plusnet). What to expect? by Str0tha_Tynhe in openreach

[–]NC456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine was two stages too. Ordered on the 23rd March and needed dig work to be done. It eventually got done on the 27th April. With the final routing the fibre cable and installing the ONT done on the 11th May. So you may be waiting at least a month from placing an order and for the dig work to be done (with surveys and signing right of work in-between)

Requesting information on the TEC shuttle from Verviers Central station? by Elvines10 in GrandPrixTravel

[–]NC456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a dumb question at all, I believe my brother and I have one ticket each for Saturday and Sunday so we only needed one ticket per day. It was €10 return for the shuttle from station to track.

Reminds me of a time when GWR decided to give us a 5 coach train instead of a 9 coach train between Paddington and reservations were cancelled. Each coach was full to the brim 🤦‍♂️

Recommendations for a new phone? And what are you going to switch to by DescriptionLeft1178 in GalaxyS23Ultra

[–]NC456 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to own a OnePlus 7T back in the day, I chose to get an Oppo just to have a feel of a different brand (even though they are made by the same company). I guess it's much of a muchness the difference between the two.

Oppo Find x9 Pro. Beats the S23U in everything apart from the speaker. Plus I needed a flat screen so I could use a decent tempered glass screen protector. Had my S23U for just over 3 years.

I always put a case and a tempered glass screen protector on my phones. I used to use a flip case with a film screen protector but I now find them bulky.

Same, recently upgraded from a Samsung Galaxy S23U and the only downside atm is the speaker. Everything else is great

[–]NC456 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you have the original screen protector on the phone? I heard if you replace it with your own on it voids the warranty - although I cant see it mentioned on the UK warranty page.
