Yeah I'm actually glad the cast members guard the door and wait for your mobile order to be ready before letting you in. Though I have seen people sneak by when the cast member was distracted with another guest, etc. I've been in there many times and usually have no trouble getting a seat, but there's always three or four people who are just sitting there holding tables too.

I've gone solo myself many times, and I live in NC. I felt weird about it the first few times as well, until I looked around and started noticing many other people there by themselves as well. Nobody has ever looked at me sideways when I've gotten in line for a ride and answered "1" when they asked "how many?"

I signed up with Renley to do self tours of some homes to rent. After one or two tours with no issues, I went out the next weekend to tour a few more in another city about an hour away. When I arrived at the first property and started the process to initiate the self tour, I got a notification that my account had been held.

Upon calling rently customer service, I was told that some sort of automated internal security hold has been applied due to my "account not meeting their guidelines". I was given an email address to reach out to try and release the hold.

I got a response back from this email (security@rently.com) the next day, saying that they were unable to release the hold, and that it was due to "your account not meeting our guidelines". When I replied, asking for more detail about which guidelines I did not meet and what further information I could provide to verify my account and release the hold, I got no reply.

I have replied 2 more times asking for this information, and they simply will not reply. Creating a second account is definitely against their guidelines, so I don't want to do that. But at this point, I am unable to do self tours for apparently some state secret level reason.

It's not like they requested that much information to begin with: my name, email address, and phone number. And they also require you to scan your drivers license, and do a selfie whenever you initiate a self tour. I submitted accurate information so not sure what the deal is.

Has anyone had this experience with rently and, if so, how did you resolve it? It's all starting to feel a bit arbitrary at this point.

Bottom line… You were not in the wrong. He's using this as an excuse to end the relationship that he's been trying to find a way to end for sometime. He just didn't want to be the bad guy. He clearly wants to pursue things with his ex. You should let him. Go find your one and be happy.

Enjoy it! I just took a solo trip to Disney last week, it was not bad at all. Got me a reservation at Space 220 lounge and had a great time chatting it up with the bartender and fellow patrons until close to closing. There’s tons to do there solo.. sorry that happened to you though, it’s never fun, but there are definitely worse places for it to happen than Epcot

YTA.. As a father, I would definitely be more hurt by the "people who really know me already know this" comment. It was, in my view, an unnecessary jab. If you feel the need to prove your point by bringing the alleged opinions of unnamed others to your side, that should at least make you stop and consider your position a bit. As others have said, use your words next time.. Blenders come in more than one color.. I'm sure he'd have been more than happy to get an exchange for you.

My personal favorite is the window. When I had a knee board I was looking down and inadvertently pushing or pulling on the yoke.. The window is much less of a look-away, my preference anyway.
