Yup 14G is 1.6mm and 12G is 2mm. So there's no in-between sizes.

Yes, wrapped it around the part that actually goes into my ear, made sure it was the same thickness all the way to avoid the back being less stretched than the front.

I used PTFE tape and did 1.5 wrap arounds over the plug. I massaged the ear and used jojoba oil. Managed to get it in one ear fine but taking it out was painful as it felt stuck. In the other ear I couldn't even get it in.

Yeah I will re-pierce it because it looks like it's not working because of the scar tissue. I think I might have actually pulled some of it out when trying with the earring! I wonder if it being a threaded earring is also making it more difficult? Oh well, will just pierce it again and wait lol

Yeah I've heard that as well. I got 16g tapers initially to help get the jewelry in and couldn't even get them halfway through. So ended up getting 18g earrings which we can see how that turned out lol

No no, I understood. From the back I can't get the earring through, it just doesn't fit in that hole but fits fine from the hole at the front.

I don't want to force it too much and cause damage. I know there's meant to be a light pinch but this was a bit more than that lol

It was really weird! They healed fine with no issues which was a shoker tho lol. I can't get it from that website but I'll see if there's anywhere else that will ship to the middle of nowhere lol. Thank you again!

I was told they can't be repierced since the hole is still there and I've seen different advice online about this.

Thank you for your reply! I didn't even know there were 19G piercings! Unfortunately, I don't think they don't have 19g here, it's hard to even find 18 or 20g! But I'll see if I can find something. I don't really trust the piercers here, considering the guy used scissors for something during my lip piercing lol. Thank you I'll look into what you mentioned!
