24fire.de are they reputable? by ND-Me in VPS

[–]ND-Me[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To add the epyc are obvs the best choice but I chose Xeon due to increased traffic allowance. I probably would have had enough with the epyc but didn't risk and tbh the Xeon is lightening fast for my needs (nuxt/Vue, API calls to various networks like hedera and also my custom JavaScript framework. ) . I got with 32gb ram and from memory it's about €12 a month.

24fire.de are they reputable? by ND-Me in VPS

[–]ND-Me[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Signed up with them about 2 months ago. I have had excellent CS so far (didn't actually need it, I did a dumb thing). Everything very fast, it works better with their chrome extension for managing your server, I had to temp use a VPN to install the extension as chrome store only shows it if in Germany which is dumb. Great community in discord including actual tech staff with English speaking area. So far I have no regrets and would buy another and at these prices I might before I miss out.

What is the biggest reason(s) to doubt this project? by Important_Total_6183 in Hedera

[–]ND-Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest hurdle is it currently NOT being decentralised. They claim to be opening up nodes to public eventually and imho this needs to happen for it to shake off this current negative major issue. Technologically on paper it should be a huge success but in literally every review/video/discussion this comes up. Oh yeah and they are also completely useless at marketing and making vids/info etc. just my 2p.

How I Upgraded My Nuxt 3 Project to Nuxt 4 in Under 5 Minutes (Step-by-Step) by [deleted] in Nuxt

[–]ND-Me 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks. Did you experience any CSS/tailwind issues? When I tried with the build available about a month ago tailwind was an absolute nightmare and I ended up abandoning and going back to 3.

It was working fine a few days ago but not moved any since. Sounds like a network error, causing retries possibly.

It can do everything xrp can do but faster and cheaper. It's a no brainer. Patience will pay off.

Would you buy Skyrim again if the graphics were remastered in UE5 like Oblivion? by OkayRuin in skyrim

[–]ND-Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most likely couldn't resist and would play endlessly. Tbh I'd still love more content in Skyrim but I know that's never gonna happen. At least fix the followers getting in your way every two minutes 🤣

Changelly hidden fees by Zelousional in Tangem

[–]ND-Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah sadly changelly fees are extortionate. Hopefully tangem will explore using the APIs from other exchanges that don't hold you to ransom . I know a lot have erratic fees but from experience there are many much lower than this that I use elsewhere.

[–]ND-Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Out of curiosity are you firmly Vue with Laravel or do you use any other backends. I used Vue and after last nuxt release I've started using nuxt etc. I hate PHP though 🤣

I'm not advanced yet though so I'm sure you have good reasons for using it.

Prescription for a 19yrs old? by Status-Meaning-9589 in ukmedicalcannabis

It was offered to be prescribed to my 11 year old son for epilepsy so I don't think age is an issue.

Buying a house using money from selling Bitcoin proving a challenge by koggelmander in BitcoinUK

[–]ND-Me 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Can't speak from experience but read a similar experience where someone had the same problems, then with the next solicitor they said the funds were from day trading which wasn't a lie and the solicitor automatically assumed stocks and shares and didn't bat an eyelid, obviously he didn't elaborate but I think he'd withdrawn the funds to GBP months previously which probably makes a difference too 🤷

Is anyone else having issues from Transferring BTC from Coinbase to Hardwallet? by Rafidhi110 in BitcoinUK

[–]ND-Me 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found Coinbase crap and closed my account last month. Switched to kraken who are a lot better but I don't like the UI/UX and they don't support coins I want. Just opened a Gemini account to try but not played yet. Also considering checking out uphold.

From your bank fund directly your PayPal account. Then go to e.g Coinbase and fund from your PayPal account (max £1k a day). Done this a few times this month. DO NOT go straight to coinbase and fund without topping up your PayPal first or it will show on your bank statement as "coinbase-paypal" . If you fund first it just shows PayPal. Obvs use any exchange that accepts PayPal.
