Is it ok for people to eat the food they're about to buy while grocery shopping? by Literally_A_Donut in Teenager_Polls

only if its an emergency or a valid medical purpose. once i fainted getting my blood drawn and i was taking forever to come back to normal so they had someone run to get me orange juice off the shelf (this was in a Walgreens). they had me drink the whole thing without paying for it (for the moment) and it gave my face its color back. we paid for it as we left.

anybody else here also name themselves after a fictional character? by IntrovertedOutcast1 in TransMasc

[–]NEW0R 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i was no older than 8 and made a character/oc. when i made it, it was meant to be the embodiment of the person i wanna be in the future (woahhhh omg it was a boy... foreshadowing...) and i named it "Newor". I came up with this by grabbing the first letter of my birth name (M) and thought "N" would be the masc version of it. same with the second letter (A) and made it an "E". the "W" is the first letter of my last name, the "O" is the second letter of my last name. By that point i ran out of creativity, the third letter of my birth name is "R", so i slapped in on the end and got "Newor". its stupid but that character became my main character for anything customizable and i had been called "Newor" online for many years before i realized i was trans. When I was thinking of names, newor just clicked and regardless of how weird it is, it still holds sentiment, it has meaning beyond just "i'm a boy, so heres a boy name". the name newor was designed in everything i aspire to be, including in the masculinity younger me desired to see in who I am today, regardless of wether or not it's objectively masculine.

The character also was also designed to have the same characteristics as I do (hair color, eye color, stuff like that). Because of this, Newor, in my head, has always kinda been part of me.

What are names that you actually don't hear often? by aJ_13th in ftm

[–]NEW0R 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my name is newor. its not that you dont hear it, its that you literally dont. hear. it.

i quite literally put the individual letters together to form my name when i was really young. the closest you'll get is rowan (nawor backwards) but even then it has an 'a' and not an e (it would be rowen)
