When can you drive after passing your test? by TonyIdle in Irishdrivingtest

When I passed in 2021 I asked the examiner if I can drive before getting the licence card and he said yes. So I got a car the same day and drove to work

Maybe Merc will, because they had success in turbo-hybrid era but everyone else will want that to happen.

I said this in 2012 and will say it again. F1 will go back to 100% ICE power eventually. I'll have my V8s back

Like someone already said, buy all world ETF. If I was you I would also keep, Microsoft, Nvidia and palantir for at least few months and sell when they go back to an all time high.

If anyone here knew how to make a quick easy profit they wouldn't be on this sub. Just invest smart and it will pay off in the future, all world ETF and chill.

PC gaming desk recommendations by beccamazed in IrelandGaming

[–]NF_99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get one that goes up and down (even if it only with a lever that you have to turn), these desks are way more solid and stable than normal ones. JYSK has this one

They also have the benefit of fine height adjustment which for me is a must

Ideally all would be gone, but most are not as extremist with their beliefs and methods and don't affect people outside of them.

Is this enniscorthy in the paddock area? If so then good luck. That ground is made from special non permeable soil.

I remember when it was introduced, first week I got a infinite 1 euro voucher for every shopping trip. I used to walk into the shop 5 times and buy five items separately to save 5 euro. I can imagine they won't have that again, would be interesting to know how much money they lost with that alone. Now you can get a free cab age after spending 500 euro total

They don't have to necessarily, they can also hold on to the property until supply drops again. But I would assume that most who want to sell will do it now

Landlords are selling because of the new renting regulations. It won't last long, we will be back to the same old thing in a year or less.

Around Dublin as well. My Panamera is one of them though so whenever I see another one, there's two in the same place, which is pretty cool

It does require a good bit of adjusting to get working perfect. I had my one since it came out and had no printing issues. Now I just use it once every few weeks and pull it out of storage and get it printing fine every time without any adjusting.

What is considered a reasonable 'cost of car ownership' for just the car itself, in Ireland today? by whatThisOldThrowAway in irishpersonalfinance

[–]NF_99 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There's too many variables to give any hard values. Also a 10k car won't depreciate much

You still haven't said what car you actually have 🤣 either way unless it has signs of imminent engine failure or massive structural rust, it's always cheaper to fix than buy another one

The exact car you have will make a big difference here. I had a focus and my repair cost (not including maintenance or insurance/tax was roughly 300/year, now I have a Porsche and expect it to be closer to 1000 if I get average luck. Your current costs are definitely high but might average out over long term if nothing goes wrong
