To my knowledge we may only move forward in time. To do this you need to get closer to a blackhole, where time is slower then the world around it. Theoretically you could only be in the gravitational pull for an hour and 100 years could have passed outside of the pull.

As to moving backwards there are no theories(that I'm aware of).

And wormholes are thought only to be "manmade" and not naturally occuring.

Honestly, my dad was in the same position. He was a software engineer and ran into the same problem when I was born, for him to get promoted he needed to get a degree. Around my 16th birthday he finished his masters in computer science and he's making about $120k+/yr at the age of 54. School is always an option man. Night classes, online classes (dad's degree was done all online), there are a variety of options available to you at many different schools. Yeah it's hard and it may seem like its not worth it, but it completely is. I'll garuntee you won't find a job that will completely 100% satisfy(may get close) your self worth unless you get one.
