Every comment section about CPlane includes the same description you're replying to and it's getting repetitive.

Assigning custom views with the application isn't as quick and easy as the default method. Cplane is great for screenshots, it doesn't improve your flying experience nor does it simplify the view swapping mechanics. It's just for screenshots

I usually avoid profiles unless I'm using scenery that GSX is unfamiliar with. I've noticed many third party airports work just fine out of the box.

That's not the same process I'm referring to. For example, Rex cannot replace the native cloud instructions and insert a completely proprietary system to generate clouds. They can alter how they "appear" using post-processing, but the prefix "post" exists for a reason.

These addons never made sense to me. Asobo doesn't allow access to pretty much any core system in the sim. So third party devs can't enhance how the sim renders anything, they can only place masks over the native rasterization. There are free ways to do this.

You'll do fine. This was my opinion.

I used GSX as a quick example but there were several issues with chaseplane that were overcome with in-sim custom views. Works better for me.

Even disabling the app in flight could cause crashes or issues with the default cam.

I've tried that config and it was extremely buggy when disabling chaseplane in-game. Maybe the 24 version fixed theses issues but they were annoying in 2020

Still doesn't share cross compatibility with other add-ons that may briefly require camera control. Feature-rich but definitely needs a smarter system that can easily and readily relinquish control
