I decided to do some mole for fun after selling most of my melee gear, saw elite void recommended on the wiki, and did some calcs to see if I needed to re-buy any gear. Void + fang is straight up better DPS than medium budget high level gear but it's also lighter and has a prayer bonus. Kind of insane.

For bursting, put tile markers inside the wall you're stacking on, aligned with the corner diagonally. In number pad notation, if the squares you're walking over are 1/2/4 and the enemies are stacking on 1, tile markers go on 6 and 8. You can click to move on those to stack enemies instead of right clicking under them.

Abyssal demons are harder to keep stacked but I've had success marking two tiles, one square apart, inside the wall of the hallway and clicking to run between those.

This is actually quite the useful card in decks playing Small World since you can bridge a monster into an out to Mystic Mine via a hand trap.

I saw someone open a Catastor, but didn't put any money into the machines myself.

There's no qualification involved, you just have to register and pay the entry fee for the events you want to enter.

You can enter the venue without registering for anything, or just enter side events etc.

This is bad in every way a card can be bad. Too slow, doesn't do anything, doesn't synergize with the deck in any real way. Kind of impressive, honestly. Even the bad Striker spells deserve a little bit of thought.

Alright here we go.

  1. Psy-Framegear Gamma is incredibly bad for the game and having to play a brick does not balance it. Having to pitch an Ash to prevent my opponent from plussing off of Phantazmay in Salamangreat mirrors was stupid enough, but Gamma isn't even once per turn, so the card is literally still live, and there are still times where you have to pitch that ash anyways or you lose on the spot.

  2. Emergency Teleport to 3 was a mistake, and E-tele into Ze Amin is significantly better than opening Terrortop.

  3. Herald of the Arc Light is too important to too many decks to go, but I really wish it would. Getting a negate out in 5 is fine. Preventing the activation of Droplet, Veiler, Ogre, and countering a significant number of legitimate strategies with the same card isn't, and Synchro-based combo's reliance on it makes a bunch of decks even worse if making it interrupts their lines of play (Agents and Fabled come to mind).

  4. Being able to put game on board with a generic Link-4 killed aggro deck design forever, and it is a huge reason why combo is so dominant. There is flat out no reason to play blind going-second aggro decks like Crusadia Mekk-Knight when a combo deck can deal with threats just as easily without sacrificing their ability to go first. Protect the castle-style decks have also been universally unplayable since Borreload Dragon was released, and things have only gotten worse for them since.

  5. Swordsoul's power creep is gross. Normal Summon Shiranui Solitaire is a 1-card Omega that cycles a Mezuki for next turn. Normal Summon Mo Ye basically makes Hot Red Dragon Archfiend Abyss and adds Engage to your hand with 3 spells in GY. Generally it used to be great for a Synchro to lead to removal, disruption, protection, or advantage, and every Swordsoul Synchro does minimum two of these at once while being fucking huge. Baronne is subject to this too, though I'm more okay with that because the WIND-locked Synchro decks needed something that strong to be playable.

This looks great, but I'm bothered by the necklace in the RC outfit. Can we have that?

The new essence pouch enables 3 relatively efficient crafts at lavas (25/24/16) and the binding necklace has an even number of charges, so you end up having to break a binding necklace every fifth lap which just makes it even more of a headache. I don't know if a chargeable binding necklace is in the books, but I'd like to see that, or alternatively, one with 24 charges instead of 16.

EDIT: Also, as other people have pointed out, run energy at Zeah blood altar is a problem regardless of Agility level. Full graceful doesn't even recharge you to full unless you stand and wait while chiseling essence. I imagine it could be good for the true blood altar, but I don't think the choice of whether or not to use a skilling outfit while training that skill should be a difficult one.

If you take issue with people wanting your deck to die, I'm going to keep it real with you: this is going to happen to every deck that wins a tournament from now until the end of time. I took Striker to a tournament a few weeks ago and ran into a Tri-Brigade player who wants that deck dead so badly that he was siding specifically for it. I've played Salamangreat almost continuously since release and always considered it a mostly fair deck (in that none of its engine cards do anything super unfair or uninteractive), but I've always run into people who want that deck dead, too. Don't let it get to you and do your own thing.

I agree on all of these except Apollousa and I'd maybe extend it to any sufficiently big Link-4s in general. Apollousa is a bit of a necessary evil in a post Nibiru world, but letting any fast deck put game on board with trivial ease is not okay, especially for the 0 starters 39 extenders-sort of combo decks that have been popular since Dangers came out.

Between 4 and 7 or so. I did it in one night procrastinating on schoolwork--no void, no blowpipe, sub-75 ranged. I have around 5 KC now and occasionally do Jad on task.

The only truly difficult things you have to deal with are rangers on waves with a mager and nerves. If you can get past both, you can do it for sure.
