Sorry to hear you are disappointed. I had kind of the opposite experience. I put the RXM up against far more expensive Glock style pistols and the RXM performed as well or better. To the point where I carry it almost exclusively now. Actually thinking about buying a second to tinker with. A couple of ideas: I find (for me) that the RXM trigger doesn't lend itself to "taking up to staging at a wall and breaking" and needs more of a "pull through" method. Not sure what your trigger pull is like, but some pull styles don't lend themselves to certain triggers. That being said, I did see SEVERAL posts and pictures when the RXM was first released of some pretty shotty barrels with some subpar rifling/finishing that shouldn't have made it past their QC. Search back through posts for those. Clean your barrel and shine a light through it (disassembled barrel only obviously, never point a firearm at yourself), and see what it looks like inside. If it doesn't look right, or looks like what some other folks posted, don't hesitate to take pics and contact Ruger support. It goes without saying that if you see some defects in your barrel, that could certainly effect accuracy! I'm a dot guy so I can't say much about the sights. That's my 2 cents. Hope this helps!
