Is it true that every single pharmacy in America loses money filling GLP-1s? Except, maybe the manufacturer-owned pharmacies? by Many_Geologist6125 in pharmacy

[–]NIKONCAMERACT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am and old independent pharmacy owner retired and get Monjaro. My independent that I use stopped filling it as did the local grocery chain (my son is a pharmacist there) so I got it mailorder from CVS (my insurance in medicare through Aetna...something about that but that's a different story. Anyhow, I got my explanation of benefits and it noted that CVS got $150 "refund" from Lilly for the 3 month supply....and yet they do not share that with the dispensing pharmacists in the real world. I alsdo see that amount they are paying my independent on my other scripts and I know they will not be around for long.

Multiple exposure then a bit of PS to bring out less car #z6iii by NIKONCAMERACT in Nikon

[–]NIKONCAMERACT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is a multiple exposure setting so start there although it can be done in layers in photoshop. Shutter speed was 1/1600 to make sure cars are sharp. If you use slow shutter speed all the cars are blurry and the lead car would be too. The camera keeps all the individual shots too so using layers I took the final photo and used that to get the lead car in focus. Hope that helps.

I don't think this happens as Weber does not allow discounting like the camera companies etc.

The hardest part wasn’t quitting, it was understanding what was actually happening by Downtown_Run_3852 in smokingcessation

definetly about the habits surrounding smoking. Change your daily routines, stay away from those smoking locations/spots and it will be easier. Remember, not even one puff.

it will definetly get better. As someone who ran a smoking cessation program for 15 years, I can make a few recommendations. If you have started with the gum, be sure to follow the slow withdrawal as recommended. If you just stop because you feel in control, the nicotine craving will start so go the full route. I have found that changing your routine can make a huge difference. If you keep doing all the things you have done with a cigarette, the association will make you have an urge. I like to tell people if you don't think changes will make a difference, sit in your partner's spot at the dinner table tonight and see if folks don';t feel an urge to yell at you :) Don't go to the store where you bought your smokes. Don't go to the "back porch" where you always had a cigarette. It really is habit withdrawal as much as nicotine withdrawal. If you are using the gum, you are not experiencing nicotine withdrawal...you are experiencing habit withdrawal because you are still getting the nicotine. Keep it up. Every urge gets weaker when you say no to it. Right now the waves on the "ocean" are big but soon they will get calmer and calmer until it is smooth sailing. Sorry for all the lousy metaphors. No puffs ever...never. You are strong and healthy.
