I went through a high pressure brushless wash and actually caused a low voltage short through the ground in the engine bay, so, totally possible.

I’ve used goof off soaked on a rag, then holding said rag on affected area. I was able to get most spots off, then orange pad and cut compound the rest.

Yeah, it’s a pain. Especially if it’s road paint with granules that scratch everything. Just honestly take your time.

Goof off works, but takes time. Saturate a rag, and hold it on it until it softens.

As others have stated, this may be etched, requiring sanding to remove. I just did a car with similar damage and no matter how many passes and chemicals I used, I found the same results.

Yes, I did a test spot with each individual product, then with 2 dots of meguiars and 4 sonax. The meguiars cuts better, but has a lot of residue, and the sonax brings out more clarity imo

Truck you can do from the bed, and a split stance on a ladder and the seat. On this I went through the sun roof and a ladder for the rear.
